Following potential 2013 draftees

Wait a minute.. wtf do I want to take advice to manage my expectations??????

"Guys.. be careful getting excited.. we are Utah.. and we are mediocre.. always have been, always will be. I don't want to see anyone getting their hopes up that that could change.. so lets just listen to voice of reason and know our place in the BB hierarchy. . Okay guys?"

No, that is not what I was getting at.

This situation reminds me of POGS back in the day. I saw them one day, wanted them and the spent the next 6 months of my life trying to get more and more POGS to the point that I made my own.

Today POGS are a fun memory but didn't do anything for my life.

I'm not even a POGS fan and I just got butterflies.

I swear I have no idea what POGS are.. but I'm pretty sure I never had any.. unless I caught them from that Dominican chick.

Not sure we should fall head over heels for the German dude compared to what we can get next year and this year with the 21st pick or even the second round pick this year as far as pg talent goes. His shooting scares me and ability to finish. Still would rather get the GF or CJ with 14, and bpa with 21.

"@nbadraftnet: No official word from the family but an inside source has confirmed that Giannis Adetokoubo will enter NBA draft along w brother Athanasios."

"@nbadraftnet: Scouts in Portland at the Hoop Summit said that Giannis Adetokoubo has a wide range of projections but some teams have him in late lottery."

I do like Schroeder, but I'd have a hard time passing on Giannis or Isaiah Austin at #14 for him. Those are serious upside picks.

It's going to be interesting to see how the Jazz put their draft board together. I have to think they'd have McCollum ranked higher than Schroeder, in part because McCollum is older and is ready to play now. Schroeder, while a good prospect, isn't so great that you draft him and wait on him for 3 years to develop. Schroeder at @21 would be a no-brainer.

I think this is what my Jazz Big Board would probably look like:

1 Noel
2 McLemore
3 Porter
4 Burke
5 Bennett
6 Oladipo
7 Shabazz
8 Zeller
9 McCollum
10 Austin
11 Adetokunbo
12 Olynyk
13 Schroeder
14 Adams/Gobert/Caldwell-Pope
