Following potential 2013 draftees

if we have Schroder and the defense sags we can have Dennis and Favors do this... right?

I would be happy with a draft like this
Schroeder
Tim hardaway jr.
Kabongo/ledo/snell (you know something like that)

I would say bring tomic over for a back up big too.

What you guys think of that.

Sign me up! is tomic a joke that jazzfanz constantly use or is this serious, i know hes massive and in mid 20's i remember him from whatever draft... fill me in on why hes better than https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3BDkRc-dN0

its easy to be critical of my statements, your questions though presume that 2 rookies who are working their asses off every day to get better are going to be poor shooters immediately in the nba, and not improve over time, franklin and schroder have good form, i rather like schroders jumper, its slow but its in rhythm and repeatable plus hes very raw, and if your going to have a slow jumper the best way to hide it is to be lightning quick with the ball/off the ball, which schroder is. franklins jumpshot is more of a project but i dont see why it wouldn't improve.

plus the defense can sag, and Schroeder Burks Hayward and or Franklin can Eurostep or break a defender 1v1 and crack the defense that way

Edit: Jamaal Franklin reminds me of Wilson Chandler

you are just too much fun.

pass on Franklin. like his fire and rebounding but we need shooting. karasev is better option for jazz.

schöder, karasev, wolters

I personally like players that rebound well for their positions.
I also like change of pace subs. ie schöder quick fast penetrates. wolters methodical shooter
kanter banger inside guy that can step out. tomic softer better passer that is a face p player.

high motor
good defender
gym rat

I want a player at pg that makes other players better. in addition to leading the team. one of the things I liked most about Stockton is he would find ways to reward players for running the court.

are you serious. tomic is performing at the highest league in the world that is not the nba on one of the best teams. gin never did anything he was just big.

I like Bullock.. not great but just about a sure thing... and shooting/defense. Yeah, gimme that guy.

Yep, from what these playoffs tell us, we need a Green/Kawhi/Stevenson type player in there somewhere. He'll find playing time if he plays defense and keep hitting those 3's.

ooh i didnt know this, checking up on ante tomic's day-to-day activities is rather low on my list of priorities.

i was joking about Jin.

he looks a bit rigid, but not totally stiff for a guy 7'2" .. bring him over, i say. we have a roster spot for this type of player

Alex Len is lightyears better but this is the type of guy who might be able to step up if an injury happens, or just like if u need to sub in a giant to guard the inbounds... hes good for that too, looks like he rebounds well.

Draftexpress says Best case : Pau Gasol ... haha

Absolutely. I doubt he's available at #21, but I can hope...

My more realistic hope at #21 is Giannis. One great aspect at drafting either of them is that they won't be coming over for a few years, which will give us a better chance at a high pick in 2014.

I'm not touching any wing without a defensive game in this draft.

Sorry, just not interested.

Actually I would rather Karasev come over since he already has 3 years of experience in good competition. He is not going to change many things in his rookie year either.

He's come along way. He would help us a good deal. He probably won't be a star though, and maybe not even a full time starter.
He would help our rotation out immediately. Favors - Kanter - Tomic could be a really fun trio to watch next year, and beyond.
That group could be good enough to make a real playoff run in two years.

I have no doubts that the Jazz organization wants him to come over now.

LOL.. well obviously someone who can defend and shoot the 3's. Is that too much to ask?

A Kawhi Leonard/Danny Green/Stevenson type.

Just stand and shoot at 3's at one end, and defend like spider's web at the other.

Danny Green and Lance Stephenson were both 2nd rounders, both obviously should have gone in the 1st.

ill never forget when the knicks took Landry Fields and then Andy Rautins the 2 consecutive picks before hometown hero, Lance Stephenson. im still pissed (Jamaal Franklin reminds me of Lance)

Off the top of my head the only players like this are:

Oladipo
Bullock (from UNC)
Snell
Maybe Solomon Hill?

These kind of players are fairly rare.
