What's new

Following potential 2013 draftees

he can rebound.
he can move his feet on defense, well.
he can really run.
for 235, strong as an ox.
massive wingspan for the height (1.25" less wingspan than Favors)

to me hes less athletic than Favors but more or equal to Tristan Thompson, just has some red flag issues, but @21 this is major value for the athlete involved, if he can play D on the wing this player is a major steal

Reminds me alot of Gerald Green but at Pf with SF capabilities. if he develops into a Marion/Josh Smith/Faried type hes got massive upside

I agree with all of this.

Wow... and here I was thinking nbadraft.net couldn't sink any lower... LOL

The consensus mock is just the averages of all the users (over 1000) who created mocks. Some of the mocks have not been updated in months, and it pays no attention to team need, just an average. Smith himself has us taking MCW, how does that sit with you?

If there's a Paul George in this draft, it's either Otto Porter or the Greek kid. But if Mitchell can play 'power-3' that could be good for us.

Coming out of school George had no elite skill, just length and athleticism. Sound familiar?

George could handle, drive, spot up and shoot off the dribble. He was an exceptional athlete for the game. The knock on him was that he coasted and didn't exert himself defensively.

this is why I wasn't high on him. I would have taken him over Hayward. I'll bet the clips wished they had taken Hayward. that was where I was mocking him.

I keep seeing fords mock and seeing the jazz get bazz and get totally excited. make the trade with Dallas get schröder and bazz.

schröder,
Hayward, burks
bazz,
favors,
kanter, tomic

solid core

I'd be good with Mitchell at #21, but would prefer to roll the dice on Giannis.
Me too.

Not that I think its even possible... but I'd be nuts happy.

I wouldn't be able to stop laughing at the NBA if we actually accomplished this.

Realistically, I'm just hoping Schröder falls to us. I don't want to get my heart set on Bazz.

Terribly.

I do believe that he will be able to play defense against the SF's of the NBA.

He also played in the WAC and didn't stand out much there. That's kinda a big knock as well.

After hearing interviews from Shabazz Muhammed, I have come away even less impressed. I've never liked him top 10, but thought he would be ok at 14. Not anymore. I wouldn't take him with either pick.

Shabazz Muhammed will be a bust.

I don't know why but now I'm starting to get nervous that the Jazz might pass on Schroeder even if he is available at 14.

Not unless he grows 3 inches in his first year ala Paul George that everyone here loves so much.
