What's new

RSL Thread

It was on Telefutura. It was a great game overall. It felt like we should have won the game though. My heart was racing the whole match. It felt like a game that really mattered ala the playoffs.

Many people were saying this is a preview of the MLS Cup. Both defenses played very well, and apparently we just love the hell out of the goal posts...

Good game. I'll take a point on the road. Now we just have to hope for a Galaxy loss and two RSL wins.

We have a tough matchup next week with Dallas. A battle for 2nd place in the league. I'm hoping for a W but they will probably get a TIE.

What the hell is up with the set of bleachers behind the south goal? Who are these people cheering for? They are starting fires and blowing smoke out over the field, waving flags of every damn color. What's up with all the flags? I saw few RSL flags but most didn't look like they had anything to do with the game at hand.

And then there's some group in the upper deck on the east side that are waving all sorts of flags and throwing **** all game long.

On the south deck, there are the Supporters Groups, primarily La Barra Real and La Union Real. There are some other supporters groups throughout the stadium. Their purpose is sorta like the Jazz rowdies, except these people are actually competent and passionate. La Barra and Union are sort of warring factions that support the same team.

The Upper Deck on the east side is the "visitor's section." They put them away from the rest of the crowd to avoid riots. Though my tickets are right below them, so enduring an opponent's goal is especially rough.

Passionate, no doubt. Competent, highly debatable.

So what's with all the different colored flags?

I'll be at the game tomorrow. Going with jhenderson008.

RSL will put the "oops" in FC Dallas "Hoops." loljokes

I'm thinking about going to the game but i'll end up watching it on TV. lol It's in HD!!

what happened to your moon sig?

I'll be going to this game as well, first game of the year for me. Not a good sign however the last game I went to was the last time Real lost at home, if my memory serves correctly I've only been to one win the other 6 or 7 games have all been losses or ties.
