Looks like we have some competition for Bledsoe. The proposed trade would be for Afflalo for Butler and Bledsoe.

I am assuming the Jazz deal would be Millsap(S&T) for Butler and Bledsoe. Maybe the Jazz throw in the #21 pick as well.


So the question is who would the Clippers rather have? Millsap or Afflalo?

Jordan isn't the long term answer for the Clippers at Center.

In fact, due to his lack of an offensive game and FT shooting, he has become a huge liability for the Clippers in the 4th. Personally, I think they'd love to land themselves a Center. But, I think they should and could be considering going small ball, with Griffin at the 5. Not that they should go with small ball all the time. But I could see them going after someone like Millsap with the idea that he comes off the bench, plays 30+ mins, and allows them to go small with Griffin at the 5 and Millsap at the 4. Besides, there are literally only 5 bigs that could hurt Griffin inside (since the NBA hasn't any bigs these days). Gasol, lopez, Hibbert, Duncan, and Kanter. 2 of them they'd have to meet in the Finals, 1 plays for a lotto team, and 2 play for awesome teams.

I think the Clipps should be very interested in Millsap... They should also be interested in other bigs who should be shopped in the next year or two or who are already free agents, namely Kevin Love, Big Al, etc...

Their window of opportunity is now. I can't imagine that they won't make some big moves this summer to keep CP3 happy.

That was PS (pre Schroeder). Also his last two months, including the playoffs, were horrific. The Jazz had a mild interest at the deadline, now I would guess they have zero interest.

I would take Millsap at around 7-8 million with also getting the #21 pick in return.
