Certainly possible. Btw.. I like Larkin a ton in the 2nd.. not so much at 21.. and hate it at 14. Its nit that I just don't like the guy.
Really? Why not at #21? #14 might be a reach, but so was Hayward at #9.

I've never really understood this aspect of the draft. Seems dumb for a team to do it.

That was in response to Larkin/Saric.
I'd be very surprised if they're contractually legally binding.. but rather political suicide for not executing on the promise (with agents, other teams.. etc.).
I'm sure there must be better reasons than I've thought of... so I'm going to find out.

Nothing nefarious... I just wouldn't take him until late first. Not that 21 is a massive reach, but too early for me.
Thanks for thinking that I'm an idiot. What I was asking is what have you been hearing in relation to the Jazz as compared to the Larkin at 14 choice by DX.
The reason I son't like Larkin is that there doesn't seem to much hope that he will be much more than an average NBA player. Schroe at least has enough there that if he hit his ceiling then he would be a force in the league.
Other notes from latest DX mock.
Len is up to 4
Olynk back in lottery #12 to Thunder
Adams shoots up to #10 Potland
Zeller falls to #11
fist pg taken is Burke at #7 to Sac.
Gianias falls to Thunder at 29
Wolters goes to Potland #40
Kybongo #51 to Magic ??

AB_PG is looking like a genius right now.
Boy, I tell ya.. you keep surprising me with these wisdom quotes.
I believe I called that. I think he's got more upside than Zeller, Olynyk and Gobert.
I think it's a good sign if the Jazz pick Larkin. Maybe they know next year's squad will thrive more in the pick and roll and we won't have to watch so many post ups.
I thought I was the one who called Adams in the lotto, and a better prospect than Olynyk and Zeller......but oh well.
