i like how people just repeat this stuff... as someone whos watched all the schroder tape, i can most certainly tell you he will NEVER rebound like rondo, not even close.

Schroders arms are deceptively long like Rondos, if he learns to use his tools, they will be quite shiny when sharpened.

they have very different paths to the league, Rondo was doing it all for Kentucky, in very limited minutes schroder was balling in pro leagues, but asked to do very little except not screw up...

Schroder didnt take basketball seriously until 2010 when his father passed away, i bet rondo's story isnt like that

also Schroder looks like hes got a blazingly fast first step, rondo is similar in that regard but you can sag off of rondo because of the jumper(not just the accuracy, but rondos shot takes a while to get off), schroder has the potential to shoot the lights out, rondo it was obvious that was gonna be a redflag throughout his career, look at his form :X
 
for the record i think Schroder has the type of personality that would clash big-time with Rajon Rondo, i think even if they were teamates they wouldn't get along one bit

i could forsee rondo barking at him, and schroder laughing in his face


lets not forget, the celtics drafted rondo @21 (blackjack!!!)

in his rookie season he played in a 3 man PG platoon

Delonte west got 2200 minutes
Rondo got 1800
Telfair got 1600

all throughout this season everyone thought west was clearly going to be Bostons choice, and maybe rondo was a waste of a pick

Gerald Green played more minutes than Rondo in 06-07!

to think Schroder isnt worth the 14th pick when seen in the light of rajon rondo is absurd imo

i think the Kings take him at 8

to finish the Schroeder vs Rondo thing

rondo uses the defense sagging against him advantageously, even if you dont respect his jumper, he appears to survey the floor but is really lulling you into his first step, then boom dribble.pass.assist...

i do not think Schroder has that kind of accumen

Schroder reminds me more of a bigger Brandon Jennings(with an appetite for on ball d), the intangibles of rondo make him a very hard comparison, unless your just talking frame, then they kinda look alike..

Agree with PG_AB on his Rondo/schroder and Bullock/Hairston comments.

Btw.. none of the other three deserve any comparison to Rondo at this point.

As has been said.. Rondo's playing chess and erybody else is playing checkers.

To be fair, we can likely draft Schroeder with 14. Rondo not so much.

I'd be thrilled with Schroeder, I like the length we're beginning to accumulate and he would be another step towards an Indiana-esque defense that funnels everything to Favors in the paint and creates a lot of deflections.
