What's new

New Hoops World Mock (Shabazz Muhammad at 14, Dennis Schroeder at 21)

It would be a great draft but it is not going to happen. No way both of them fall that low. I would **** myself if it really happens though.

There is some chance that Shabazz could slip to us, or that if a team picks him at #9 or #10 that team is picking him for us. He was the #1 recruit going into college wasn't he? It was all about Shabazz and Noel.

Imagine a starting five of:

Favors
Kanter
Mohammad
Hayward
Schroeder

With Burks playing big minutes off the bench. You have length, shooting, scoring, athleticizm and defense. I like our potential but unlikely to happen...

I am not a big fan of Bazz. However, this scenario is possible. This draft is going to be one of the hardest to predict due to the lack of talent difference between players. My biggest problem with Bazz is his production comes at the cost of the team. His game seems to be selfish and drive by just wanting to score and not make his team any better. The off the court domination of his father is also a concern. Is he going to be able to cut the strings from his father or will his relationship with his father bring down his career?

Moves that won't ever happen:

- Minny taking Zeller (they already have Love at PF and desperately need shooting)

- Portland taking Dieng (HUGE reach, they also have a project in Leonard, it's more likely they sign a FA big)

- Thunder taking Plumlee (they're big on athleticism & upside, Plumlee is probably the least athletic & least upside compared to other bigs still on the board)

If those moves aren't possible, then that scenario isn't possible.

The End.

Doesn't it seem like Portland always reaches in the draft?

Just looked at Portland's draft history. Wow, they aren't good at drafting at all.

Its too much for the Jazz to look past to move up for him, but they would take him at 14. Guys they might actually move up for seem like McCollum and Zeller.

German Steve Nash is like a buck 50. That is like dangerously light. I'd say if that's his true weight he's a good 2 years away from starting and playing effectively.

This is true. He's a couple years away from being a starter if he pans out. To say that he's just backup material now when he's shown
skills on both sides of the court is just straight hatin' though.

As if corbin would ever allow a starting lineup like that on the court

We would be set at every single position. The only thing we would need is a couple more backups.

Plumlee isn't athletic?

You don't watch much basketball, do you?
