Following potential 2013 draftees

Then why waste a pick on Schraeder? Roddy is a RFA, Dallas wants money to chase Howard. Sign Beaubois to a front loaded 3 year contract.

There are 50 FA point gaurds listed on this 2013 FA list. Everyone knows that the Jazz have a starting job available. Jazz should have plenty of FA options.

Exactly. I don't want to draft Schröder because there are so much more players that we know more about.

Surely we don't need to pick Larkin in the first round.

Agreed. Draft McCollum or Carter-Williams, but if you can't get either one by trading up or one if them falling to us, if neither those happen then draft Wolters at 21 or trade into early part of 2nd round for Wolters.

Considering the Spurs were willing to trade George Hill for Kawhi Leonard, I would think picking Giannis might be a priority for Lindsay.

Yes at #21, but I wouldn't reach for him at #14.

If you like physical/long wing who can defend, and hit the occasional 3's, then Tony Snell and Reggie Bullock will be there waiting at #21.

Yeah, but neither of those guys can handle, drive or make plays like Giannis.

I don't think Giannis is a reach at #14. He supposedly has a promise from Atlanta at 17/18.

Just say no to MCW.

I use to think the same way but watch MCW's workout video on draftexpress. I didn't know he could one hop and jump up and throw down all in one motion, I thought he didn't play above the rim that much and also his shot isn't broken it just needs a little work and the more this kid matures Carter-Williams will get better at those other things because MCW's size is so rare at his position in the NBA and his elite skill is passing that alone is deadly, it may take a couple years for MCW's shot to totally develop ala Tony Parker. I wouldn't touch Carter-Williams with a ten foot pole. Dude just screams bust to me.

?? How do you figure that?

- He's athletic and lengthy

- He has a high motor

- He brings the ball up

- He L-O-V-E-S to pass

- He's the ultimate team player

- His shooting mechanics isn't broken, it's just a matter getting up reps

- He's lengthy enough to be an elite defender at the next level

- He's a PG who rebounds

- You can switch him on PnR defense all day long

I don't know how you see a bust after seeing all of that.

Larkin screams Damon Stoudamire

Schröder screams Rodrigue Beaubois

Would only draft either with our 2nd round pick.

Burke, McCollum, and MCW I would trade up for in this draft or be plum happy if one fell to me.

Wolters I wouldn't complain at 21 but can be had in the early 2nd round if we can trade in that range.

I think Wolters goes between 36 and 41.

They have two picks back to back, they can afford to reach on one of there picks, plus 17 or 18 isn't as big a reach as 14.

I've seen all of the videos on him.

yes, not a shooter thin and weak, and the thing I hate most, he's too tall for a pg with out elite dribbling skills, he's a turnover waiting to happen.

But most damning to me is he has that Cj Miles dear in the headlights look.
