Bill Oram @tribjazz The Jazz will hold a Monday press conference for a "major facility announcement." What upgrades are most pressing at ESA?


I think they are going to announce the installation of a Lazy Boy behind the Jazz Bench for Coach Karl, so he never has to buy from a scalper again.

or

a living statue of Jerry Sloan?
 
Jody Genessy @DJJazzyJody I think most Jazz fans would consider having a home team that's a perennial playoff contender again an acceptable upgrade to the facilities.
 
I'd like a redundant shot clock system. That system they have breaks down all too often and it's a booring delay of game. Having a secondary system to switch over to would be relatively cheap and help avoid future game delays.

I mean how many game a year does the shot clock fail for one reason or another? 4? 5? 6? It's really amazing how often it breaks down.

George Karl was just fired today and already accepted the head coaching spot? I find this hard to believe.

I don't know how I feel atm.

There's actually a lot more to this story. Part of it is that Karl is not only joining the restored church but is also joining the Jazz to restore the franchise.
