Following potential 2013 draftees

Too bad nbadraft.net SUCKS. They updated today and......

#14 - Shabazz Muhammad
#21 - Dennis Schroeder
#46 - Ryan Kelly

That would be an A+ in my opinion.

I'm beginning to think they're doing crazy mocks just to get attention.

I can't relate to that at all.

On a more serious note: Please include that piece of garbage from nbadraft.net to the results. I bet they'll have the worst record!

So Bennett has gained 20 lbs since his shoulder surgery and is sliding enough that his agent scheduled a last minute meeting with Sacramento (#7).

So why did you figure Bennet would fall? Not weight gain or shoulder surgery--weak competition? Tweener? Personality?

Chad Ford has posted a top 50 prospects ranked by GMs via secret ballot. Oladipo is #1.

I've always liked Bennett until he started being talked about top 5. He's an undersized PF.. I'm not buying full-time SF, at all.
He's got a mediocre motor. He's a slacker on defense.. or just isn't very good.
I think he'll get his shot swatted A LOT in the league. And if you're drafting him for his perimeter game.. there are better players for that.
I just think he got way over-hyped. If he was being mocked around 15 I'd be pimping him like crazy.. at top 5, I'm out.

Anyone have a lot of experience with Ray McCallum?

https://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Ray-McCallum-5718/

Ray McCallum's 1.317 PPP in transition is terrific, and he drew fouls on a sample leading 18.9% of his possession in the half court, as his athleticism and aggressiveness as a finisher manifest themselves well here. Ranking right around average as a pick and roll and spot-up scorer, McCallum is at his best attacking the rim one-on-one. A 60.6% shooter around the basket, the Detroit product is the second best finisher in this group. A below average jump shooter, having converted a bottom-three ranked 29.4% of his attempts, there's some things to like about McCollum already as he continues to refine his perimeter shot.

He is in the range of our 2nd round pick. Has decent size and athletic ability. The numbers say he is a good finisher and a decent distributor.

Here's a bit more info on this ranking:

About half of the NBA's 30 teams participated, rating prospects on a 0-to-10 scale. A rating of 0 meant that the player "won't make the league or will have a very minimal NBA career," while a score of 10 meant he was a "top-of-the-line, elite prospect." Our respondents were asked to rate each prospect against all such NBA prospects in recent years. We took these scores, averaged them and prorated them on a 100-point scale.

Here's the ranking:

1. Oldadip
2. Noel
3. McLemore
4. Bennett
5. Porter
6. Len
7. McCollum
8. Zeller
9. Burke
10. MCW
10. Saric
12. Schroeder
13. Adams
13. KCP
15. Olynyk
16. Larkin
17. Karsev
18. Crabbe
19. Giannis
19. Bebe
21. Canaan
21. Bazz

23. Franklin
24. Plumlee
24. Hardaway Jnr
26. Dieng
27. Snell
28. Muscala
29. Ledo
29. Mitchell

I've highlighted the interesting picks.

- Canaan is tied with Bazz.

- Re Bazz: You can say, "OH they're just ranking Bazz low cos they want him to fall and pick him". But why are other players ranked normally? Why is it just Bazz? Why not other players? Len is injured, Bennett is injured, why not intentionally grade them lower?

- Muscala is getting a lot of love, entering the 1st round.

- Bullock is 31: Are we over-valuing him a bit?

- Goodwin is at 40: Wow.. not a lot of love for him at all.
