Following potential 2013 draftees

I think Olynyk is going to really surprise some of you guys. He's going to be VERY good.

Don't agree at all, but that's what this is all about.

I do LOVE his passing ability, and intelligence.

At best though he is a decent back up. Horrible value at 14 imo.

I think Olynyk is a better version of Mehmet Okur--one who runs the floor and scores some in the post.

Remember those years when Memo would have been an ideal stretch big off the bench, but was starting instead?

Sacramento has been aggressive in trying to move up from seventh in the draft, league sources tell Y! Likely target: Ben McLemore.

****. This is bad news guys... SAC is our best hope of landing Burke/McCollum.

Okur was good at one thing. Shooting 3s. Olynyk has some skill, but he will be very frustrating for any team that drafts him.
Not anyone special that will make much of an impact. He will get owned by anyone taller or more athletic.

Olynyk can shoot the 3's in college. If you're picking him, you're playing him around the perimeter with 1 pivot already in the post grabbing rebounds.

He'll have to play a mixture of Luis Scola/Mullens type style to be successful (taking guys off the dribble and making 3's).

To be honest, with Favors/Kanter both low post dominant players, I think Olynyk would be a decent fit as a 3rd big.

(it might even bring Stockton back into the fold? who knows?)

Why can't Olynyk be like Okur? Especially if he develops a 3pt game.

PKM - I wonder what Rondo would say about Schroeder's immaturity? Is it worth taking a gamble on?

I don't know what Rondo would say.. I'd guess he'd say something sarcastic.

I think the answer is how good do you think he could be with a good attitude.. and how bad is his attitude??

I'm willing to take a guy with a monster ceiling and questionable mental aspects.. some teams don't.
