What's new

Let her play golf

I think you guys should all become native americans, then you can all get free college, and tribal money. Im thinking of dying my skin black because I think I should of been born black.

oh Bean please, haven't they had enough struggles to deal with?

I am pretty sure this thread is happy and is strange or odd from a conventional viewpoint; unusually different.

I couldn't disagree more. At the end of the day, she's a man (testosterone and all) and shouldn't be allowed to play a woman's sport. I would say the same if a girl wanted to play ping pong for the men's National team.

Of all the things to get riled up about... Some people just HAVE to bitch, don't they?

I actually agree with this, its a big adventage, but for the gal. a real one against guys of a good sports calibre its a disadvantage, I hate golf, what is that, hitting some crappy white ball.

Has anyone heard about Laurel Hubbard? She's a record setting Kiwi weight lifter that's been in the news recently.

I have no problem supporting her being trans and respect her decision to live that way. However, to me, there is a clear line that she should not be allowed to compete in women's weight lifting. Am I wrong to think this way?

I agree with you. Had she transitioned at younger age I would not have that issue. But she was fully grown male in her 30's...that does not look right to me.

I will give someone the respect and courtesy to call them by which pronoun they identify with. I do this because the older I've gotten, I've realized, supporting someone in something that makes them happy is just about the best thing one can do - with exceptions of course.
However, her weight lifting in female competitions is one of those exceptions to me. I believe, regardless of what she identifies with, she has a clear advantage over those born with XX chromosomes. There is an easy line to draw here for me. It's called science.

so if i tell you i hear voices, would you indulge me and act like you also hear the voices, or tell me to get mental help? look he she they are free to do whatever. but recently they have taken this ******** to schools!

gender dysphoria is a mental illness, nothiing wrong with that. they are free to seek help or not. but they should not force the world to share in their dillusion, step into the cage with women, beat the **** out of them without any technique just hulk smash brute force.

atleats with golf or weightlifting they are not physically hurting the others

It's called science .. and common sense.

This can of worms is starting to open. Be interesting when the first trans person wins an Olympic gold medal
