I am listing a bunch of point guards. I want you to predict when it is all is said or done if Trey Burke's career will be better, worse or push overall compared to the overall careers of these point guards.

1) Chris Paul
2) Kyrie Irving
3) Damian Lillard
4) Mike Conley jr
5) Ricky Rubio
6) Jeff Teague
7) Kemba Walker
8) Brandon Knight
9) Mo Williams
10) Tony Parker
11) Kyle Lowry
12) MCW
13) Schroeder
14) CJ McCollum
15) Shane Larkin

I just numbered them arbitrarily, it is not necessarily my ranking or anything. Also I added the last four in case one of them blows up and you say "we shoulda drafted him instead like I wanted" so we can go back to this thread and see if you really did predict the other PG's will be better.

My list

1) Chris Paul- Worse
2) Kyrie Irving- Worse
3) Damian Lillard- Push
4) Mike Conley jr- Push (Conley better at defense, Burke at offense but overall equal)
5) Ricky Rubio- Push
6) Jeff Teague- Better
7) Kemba Walker- Push
8) Brandon Knight- Better
9) Mo Williams- Better
10) Tony Parker-Worse
11) Kyle Lowry- Better
12) MCW- Better
13) Schroeder- Better
14) CJ McCollum- Better
15) Shane Larkin- Better

I might do this with Rudy Gobert if this thread isn't completely ignored :/

Also feel free to add/subtract PG's if you want to this list.

i think rubio will be better (although being good in minny is pretty meaningless), and teague will be a push, which is more a reflection on how i feel about them than burke. otherwise i will not argue with your list.

Hayward/George
Burks/Leonard

and now: Burke/McCollum

Yeah you can say d will/Chris Paul too, but whatever. I like Hayward, I think burks will get good, and Burke will be at least as good as cj. Burke is the man.

It depends what kind of PG you want. If you like a PG who runs a team, makes players better, delivers the right pass, runs plays like a swiss watch and can still score the ball at will, you'll like Trey Burke. Athletically he's on par with Kyrie Irving, but his IQ and pure PG skills for the team game might actually be a bit better.

He's not going to be a highlight cross-over-and-dunk player, but he'll make passes we haven't seen since DWill and John Stockton, and he'll hit enough shots to average 15 pts.

Right now, of course. But I think Burke will prove to be a better pg for our team just as dwill was a better pg for our team.

Yeah the Jazz would have been a lotto team with CP3 instead of DWill.

Lillard is and will be better than Burke imo. That's more of a compliment to Lillard than a insult to Burke. No matter what team they are on.

Paul, Parker, Irving, and Lillard will have the best careers. After that, it's a race between Rubio, Conley and Burke, imo. But I like Burke's chances to be better than those two. :)

I like the OP's assessment except for lillard...... lillard is better than burk IMO

Basically this.

As usual..... spycam nails it.
