Following potential 2014 draftees

Randle's high School team was stacked! Him and the athletic freaks of nature brothers of Mike and Mickey
Mitchell was probably the most enjoyable teams in the nation to watch last season.

SG's I like;

Dante Exum 6'6
Gary Harris 6'4 (I'm not super high on him, actually)
P.J. Hairston (Love his game .. 3pt shot.. but his recent run-in with the law makes me pause)
Aaron Harrison 6'6
James Young 6'6
Rasheed Sulaimon 6'4
LaQuinton Ross 6'8 (maybe more of a SF.. but can play SG, imo)
Wayne Selden 6'5

Probably all of these guys will be within realistic range.
None of these guys are Wiggins, Parker, or Randle, but several may be better than the next best SF after those three.

Yep.. and the Harrisons' team.. very exciting.

Exum is so young that I think he could hit All NBA level. He has the highest ceiling of all the SGs.

I've watched all these guys so much over the last couple years that I think I have taken them for granted a little bit.

I've been watching some vids the last hour and I take back what I said several posts back about the three being very close...

It's Wiggins.. he really is the 'NEXT.'

Watch the vid, RANDLE vs. WIGGINS. Notice how freakishly fast Wiggins is (not mention the eye-popping athleticism) for 6'8.

I hope this comes across the right way.

The top 3 players in 2014 are Wiggins, Parker and Randle. Here is how I would rank the for the different categories (based of of actual level, not potential):

Athleticism-
Wiggins
Randle
Parker

Offense-
Randle
Parker
Wiggins

Polish-
Parker
Randle
Wiggins

Defense-
Wiggins
Parker
Randle

BBIQ-
Parker
Wiggins
Randle

The reason I am bringing this stuff up is because even in the area that I feel like Wiggins is the most raw (offense) he would be slightly behind both Randle and Parker. If Wiggins can develop a more consistent 3pt shot then he will be behind only LBJ in terms of difficulty defending him.

I hope that all made sense.

He's my favorite. I want to see more of him. I didn't follow him until recently when a scout/friend of mine told me to watch for him at the Hoops Summit.

From what I've seen his work rate, motor, athleticism and shooting stroke are all impressive. Can't ask for much more than that.

Randle and Parker are VERY even.

Offense-
Randle
Parker
Wiggins
Parker
Randle
Wiggins .. with Wiggins gaining on them quickly.

Polish-
Parker
Randle
Wiggins
Correct

Defense-
Wiggins
Parker
Randle
They're all very close, imo.

BBIQ-
Parker
Wiggins
Randle
Switch Randle and Wiggins

Seems dumb to say, but I think Wiggins is a 50/50 mix of Lebron and Michael.

All of your notes are basically my point. Even in Wiggins weak areas he is not far behind.

At the McDonald's game I thought that offensively Wiggins held his own against Parker, who I considered to be much further along in that department.

Loving the idea of nabbing another key player.. so wish we could get two lottery picks. We'd be set with youth, completely while our 'core 4' is really no longer that young by then.

Exum reminds me of Derozan. He's a good player, but not a game changer, or a guy you can build an offense around.
Gary Harris looks like a straight shooter, maybe like Michael Redd or Michael Thornton. Nice complementary piece, but not a game-changer.

We need a super athlete with game. Aaron Harrison and James Young look interesting, but I don't really know these guys.

Good observation. None of these guys are cornerstone pieces. I like Exum quite a bit .. but to address your specific requirements, Young may be the best. Prolific scorer, HIGH % 3pt shooter, lefty.. quick and long.. Those two are my favorites followed by Aaron Harrison.
