I'd be very surprised is a S&T wasn't in the works. It seems to be the Jazz way and GMs seem to respect the gentlemen's code in arranging them. I wouldn't mind one of the protected 14's (especially if it became unprotected in 2015).

Umm, when we let Boozer go as a FA, the JAZZ had to give up a 2nd-round pick to get the exception in return. There is absolutely NO reason for Charlotte to give the Jazz anything.

Uh, no, the BULLS had to give up a 2nd-round pick to make it a "trade".

EDIT: Or maybe not. Wierd, I've now found sources with different versions of who sent the pick, but all agree it was "protected" and apparently never conveyed.

I've always had a soft spot for MKG. He's just the kind of guy that helps you win a championship. Fantastic glue guy. Having said that, I still really like Burks, as well, if for different reasons.

There are so many options with Charlotte, just depends on what they want and what Jazz want.

There are no longer extra salary or years for a s&t player. Al could sign outright with them. This is why being nice is important. Jazz made AL a bunch of money by featuring him for 2 years.
