Trey Burke KSL Interview

Feel free to actually watch the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeGuKZtAxyc

Or if you just want the play by play. https://scores.espn.go.com/ncb/playbyplay?gameId=330980097

And for Siva's steals on Burke, go to 9:59 of second half and...well, that's the only steal Siva got on Burke, Siva overplaying the pass in transition. None of Siva's other steals were on Burke. But don't let facts get in your way. Soldier on!

my point was his over dribbeling deflated that game... you think otherwise?

when did i say siva got all 4 steals off of burke?

i just notice the PG of the future had more Turnovers than assists, care to tell me why that was someone elses fault too?

Burke was better than Siva in the national championship darkwing?

Burke played well against Louisville.

If you want something to worry about watch Burke against Syracuse in the Final 4 game. Your only consolation will be Michael Carter Williams played even worse.

and thats your evidence?

you think those quotes corroborate themselves in a court of law?

or are you saying that they disprove each other?

all i said is its odd theres sooooo many videos of that block, and not much of the outstanding game Siva played

Trey Burke had about half the turnovers of the entire Louisville squad, whats the excuse for that?

And Mario Chalmers played Derrick Rose to a standstill in the title game.
Raymond Felton played Deron Williams to a standstill in the title game.

None of those four had 24 points in 11 shots.

who better fulfilled their duties as a responsible ball handler in the national championship?

Trey Burke(who could only possibly handle the ball for 26/40 mins)

or

Peyton Siva

and Mario Chalmers has 3 championships, including college

Raymond Felton has 1

Derrick Rose has 0, and so does Trey Burke so does Deron... so does John Stockton

and the 1 shot trey burke had to get one, he could only handle 60% of the minutes he could have played.... Derrick rose couldent hit his freethrows (nor could douglas-roberts, or anyone on that team)

mario chalmers had one shot to keep his team alive and made it

with a minute to go in the national championship this year trey burke was on the bench pouting

Trey Burke turnovers:

Lob pass to a cutter that was well defended
Lost handle on a drive
Aforementioned pass in transition
Then an after bucket one which isn't shown.

What's the point? Point guards have turnovers. Usage rate is very high. Dude's assist rate over an actual legitimate sample size is one of the best for point guards. John Stockton had games where he had more turnovers than assists, probably in college, too.

Siva had a good game. Very good college player. Won't translate to the pros, or at least, his offense won't. He got drafted for his defense and heady play. An Earl Watson type, if you like. Burke is clearly the better prospect. Louisville the better team.

my point is your defending the loser, vs a winner

...

whats your excuse? other than being a fan of the jazz

Burke didn't foul out. His coach took him out, not himself.

And if you judge a player's quality by championship rings, than Kerr is better than Stockton. Felton is better than Stockton

"Well, sir, now let's see. That fella ovah there has one ring. Raymond Felt one. That's more than that Stockto fella over here. That guy must be bettaer. Let's get him!"

Your type is the reason Scott Brosius exists in people's minds, and why the stupidity of the "clutch gene" exists.

Says he wants doesn't want to play with people who are just out on the court looking to just get their stats, he wants to play with guys that want to win.
Better not sign O.J. Mayo.

Well, he sounds fairly intelligent! Not quite as fluent as his mother! At one point in the interview I was thinking this guy is tattoo-less! At least I didn't see any on his neck! But then as his playing shots became visible, well, I can throw that idea out of my mind! So he seems to have all the tools but not quite as athletic or big as an NBA point guard should be? Certainly knows how to win, though! Only lost 5 games in his entire high school career! So what's the downside to this guy?

nope.

but id have much rather kept Shabazz, used 21 on Mason Plumlee, Traded 46 up for Gobert

then swap a future 2nd rounder for Siva

in my book thats much more value for the jazz

then go after battletested, proven, NBA PG's

like

Jeff Teague
Jennings
Jarrett Jack
Grievis Vasquez
or Jose Calderon

Teague, Jennings, Jack, Vasquez, and Calderon have all been on NBA lottery teams.
