Jazz and Kings trade (idea)

So the Kings are looking to trade Nocioni and this could give us a chance to move up in the draft. Here is the proposal:

Jazz trade: AK and the #9

Kings trade: Nocioni, Beno, Hawes, #5

Why the Jazz do it:
We move up in the draft and get some fairily good value back with some veterans and a big man in Hawes. Downside is the two contracts are not pretty.

Kings:
They move Nocioni who wants out and get rid of some bad contracts. Total financial decision. They also set themselves up in the FA market.

I don't like the $22M over three years that Udrih is making.

In looking at it a bit, it would be Sacramento that would decline first. Not value enough for that package. I don't think AK's $17 M expiring is worth that package for them.

Checking on salaries, Sacramento has about $33M allotted to nine players, with no major home free agent. 10 players at around 36 mil after the draft pick. They are in a good financial situation. Only Udrih is a "bad" contract since Nocioni is down to two years left and doesn't get paid THAT much. They really don't need to make a salary dump, even with a guy who asks for a trade.

How about #9 and the rights to Fes' (their assistant GM Jason Levien used to be his agent) for #5?

This would assure the Jazz have a shot at Cousins or Johnson. Just so everybody knows.

Too much to give up just to get Monroe who may be there at #9 anyway.
What? Who says we're drafting that disinterested underachiever with the #5 pick? I hate Cousins but I pick him 100 times out of a 100 over Monroe. And we're not even talking about one of the most productive, efficient, rounded, and athletic wings in the draft (Johnson).
