What's new

Summer League (overall)

dangit... McCollum looking good out there.

More points in 1 half, than Burke scored in any game (different types of PG's tho)

McCollum appears to be the best shooter on the floor in this game.

15 pts on 6/10 from the field, 1/2 3pt. and 2/2 from the line.

This begs the question tho...

would you rather have better scoring PG that needs to learn to set-up teammates (McCollum)..
or a team-first PG that will need to learn how to score (Trey Burke) ?

I really think Burke hasn't had the best pre-draft workout...

McCollum worked out with MCW and coached by Jay Hernandez, and competed hard against potential draftees throughout the process. He's definitely much more NBA ready right now compared to Burke...

Problem is that Burke is a scoring pg.

Said before the draft and I'll say it now....

CJ is the better player, and the guy I wanted.

I agree with you, but there's something to be said about what situation you get drafted into

For our sake... I'm hoping McCollum gets burried on the bench because he can't play off the ball with Lillard

He only has 1 assist though... he's definitely not the pure point our FO was looking for...

If you have a 'Point-Forward' like Hayward that can handle the ball and pass it, you don't really need a pure Point Guard. I still think that a combination of Hayward and McCollum would have worked out better...

Well Ty Corbin insisted he wanted Burke... so... can't argue with that.
