This Gave Me Chills.....

Malone is crazy. Always has been. And you know what? Most NBA superstars are -a little crazy-.

It'll be interesting if Favors can pick some of that up, because physically he has all the tools he needs.

Karl Malone gunna do what Karl Malone gunna do. Karl Malone gunna eat dem Hardee's chicken nugget samiches.

Awesome. It's such a shame Kanter couldn't be working with them, too.

I don't mind that. Favors needs to work on his mental game much more than Kanter needs it. I'm glad Favors had this opportunity to learn from Malone one-on-one before Kanter steps in.

Favors could use a little nasty in his game. He is too much the nice guy.

You would never guess that by his foul rate...

Lots of fouls does not necessarily mean nasty, it most often means they are active on D without having a good grasp of how to play solid D.

I'm talking Stockton low-post screen jersey grab, or Malone elbows and knees nasty. Get a rep a bit, make it hard for people to play against you, get them talking. Like the quote in somebody's sig about the only way to defend their pick and roll is to beat them to death with a bat. You don't make comments like that about nice guys.

Bill Oram is such an awful writer. It would be nice to read an article, get the news, and call it a day, but unfortunately we have to wade through fifteen sentences of Bill Oram thinking he's such a clever guy.

It's seriously like he sat in a room and tried to think of all the various puns he could incorporate into an article that he then proceeds to beat you over the head with. Can't wait until he's fired.

Is anyone else scared Favors is going to blow up this year and we are going to have to match a max deal on him? I hope we get him and Hayward extended this year.

Which is exactly why The Jazz should have ****ing traded Jefferson at the end of the 2012 season. If he had two years as a starter we could have seen a natural progression to his game and therefore better judge what he's worth. If he explodes this year there will also be the doubt that he did it in a contract year.

Favors was the youngest guy in the NBA when The Jazz got him. To spend 10+ million on his rookie contract and bring in his own coach just to lose him as a FA would be a meltdown of epic proportions. The rest of the league knows this and they'll make the Jazz pay big time to keep him.

I just wish The Jazz had a better idea of what he's worth coming into THIS year.

Not really worried about the "contract year" aspect with either of them. I think they are both hard workers. Just worried about them putting up stats on a bad team.
