What's new

This Gave Me Chills.....

Yep. I don't think either of them sign an extension. Why would they? They will have statistically good years and are young. I would not be surprised if both are paid over 10 mil a year when the dust settles.

Is anyone else scared Favors is going to blow up this year and we are going to have to match a max deal on him? I hope we get him and Hayward extended this year.

That's exactly what I hope happens. If Favors shows he's just a hair over mediocre then I'll really be scared.

We need a couple of these guys to bust out, don't we? Otherwise we are the Timberwolves and Warriors for real.

Which is exactly why The Jazz should have ****ing traded Jefferson at the end of the 2012 season. If he had two years as a starter we could have seen a natural progression to his game and therefore better judge what he's worth. If he explodes this year there will also be the doubt that he did it in a contract year.

I just wish The Jazz had a better idea of what he's worth coming into THIS year.

This.

You can't learn anything about a player by only playing them over 20 minutes per game for two years. Nothing. The Jazz are clearly in the dark on Favors at the moment.

Not what I said or meant; but thanks for the thought.

Gobert and Malone will be another interesting one. Gobert needs to hit the weight room. Maybe Malone can help encourage that.
Also, help Rudy with some post moves.

With the Mailman as a mental tutor, it's virtually guaranteed that Favors' game will do a complete 360.

You've still got it bordy

That's because almost any NBA would have a long way to go to catch Favors' newest mentor in terms of bulk.

Yep any NBA. The one here, in Murrica. The one in Kentucky. You name it.

If Malone can get one thing and one thing only into his head....it would be DON'T need to dribble when he receives the ball low in the post! Just GO STRAIGHT UP....lay it in, dunk it, get fouled and start collecting 3 point plays until the cows come home! It was a MAJOR contributing factor to making Malone not only the smartest power forward in the history of the game, but also put him number 2 in all time scoring, right behind Jabbar! Favors is certainly big enough to dominate the low post....the question remains.....is he SMART enough?

Raise your hand if Karl Malone ever invited you to the Jazz locker room then signed and gave you his game worn shoes from that nights game.
