Yeah the kkk thing is definitely incidental... I never meant for it to come out in a racist way at all. I was definitely surprised by the reaction people had at the time because I never thought about it at all. I mean, Hottnikk is too short, Hottttnikkkk is too long, 3 seems about right...
The Holy Spirit thing.. yeah I do feel it.. when I come across Godly people, I certainly can feel that the Holy Spirit is working inside of them, bringing out the best that the person can be, and doing all the things that God wanted that person to do.. It's hard to explain, but I do feel it...
I don't know what it's like in the US, but the nursery business in NZ is pretty good.. people really puts in an effort to make their garden look nice to enjoy and to entertain... so we do quite well here for a small business. There is absolutely no stress involved which is a plus. Most plants that we don't sell, we pot them up to a larger size and we get more money for them, so that's another plus. Plus we live where we work, so not much travel. We aren't "rich" but we are doing OK. The extra time we have we use it to grow vegetables to eat ourselves which saves us a lot of money.. We feel really blessed to have stumbled across this business (which mom originally started, but we expanded).
I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys a laid back, back to the nature lifestyle. It's great for a family also as everyone can help out. All you needed to do is take a horticulture/propagation course, construct a couple of greenhouses and away you go.
