I see that Atlanta waived Deshawn Stevenson so they could sign the Junk Yard Dog. He was part of the team the year Stock and Malone left.

Srs? Thought it was common knowledge.

DSteves is a career 7ppg scorer on 40% shooting and less than 70 percent foul shooting. Didn't Sloan do something to him during the Sacramento series which was Stockton's last ride?

Favorite DeShawn moment:

On 2003 media day someone from the media mentioned playoffs in a question. DeShawn laughed out loud (although not loud enough that coaches or management could hear him) and said something like "Playoffs? Right!" He didn't have much faith but as you recall the Jazz only missed the postseason by one game.

A Kenwood sighting!

Guess it was only fitting that DeShawn being traded for Giricek was what resulted in that last push for a playoff berth. In hindsight, had the Jazz challenged for the worst team in history, as many predicted, perhaps they would have drafted Dwight Howard or Emeka Okafor with their lottery pick instead of getting Kris Humphries as the reward for trying so hard to win games.

Now imagine pairing either center with Carlos Boozer and having AK and Harpring as the other forwards. Still missing a PG, but an incredibly lethal front line.

Nah, on second thought, it's likely they would have traded back and taken local hero, Rafael Araujo.

I would say something about betting a dollar amount that he doesn't re-sign with the Jazz, but I'm new here, so I won't.
