What do you think about tracking more user stats?

First one to post in a thread.

Most reps from a thread, reps per thread, etc..

Last one to post in a thread. (Last words)


More would be better

Sounds pretty good. Though how would these make the quality of the board better? Know any other board that does this?
 
@Jason, I think Hack's idea for more stats is a good one, but the statistical categories are flawed.

This is a Texas message board that seems like the same format as jazzfanz and keeps track of some stats that I think wouls be cool, scroll down to the bottom of the home page.

*WARNING* They don't have the same standards as jazzfanz, if you click the link you'll probly see people's avatars with bikini'd babes and stuff, no porn or anything doe.

Stats are cool if you do not exaggerate the classifications. For instance, things like threads most visited, OP's most liked/repped, posts/posters most liked/repped of the week/ever would be nice.

Community>>members list >> sort by column. Much cleaner IMO, and you get the full list. I hate top tens when finding site stats as much as finding NBA stats on b-r.com.
 
Most posts Today would be a good. That way you can see who is on one. Top Ten Threads of the day as well.

I don't know how to say it would make the board better. I think it just does.

People like information that is about them.


I actually got the idea because I wanted to make some sports like cards of the posters around here, but we don't have enough stats. I think that could be fun.

It can be used for playful bragging rights and such too.


If its a huge pain and costs a lot of money then its probably not worth it. But if it would be cheap easy then I don't see how it could hurt.

The more the better imo, and throwing in some goofy ones would be fun too (like last words)


I'm confident that more would like it than not. It doesn't have to be front page either. Just under a tab would be great.

For the record, I think cyrone is winning lately with pkm just behind.

Spycam, revolution, and ugli have fell off a bit (ugli is still solid but normally he is in my #1 spot)

Hack you are your normal consistent bad *** self (always top 5 or so)

Franklin has moved up from me hating his trolling *** to me liking his trolling ***

I don't mind stats that promote more worthwhile activity (less UGLI) for sure.

I love stats.
I don't dislike these, but not sure, yet, what they're good for.

Any ideas? I want to like them, I think.

I just noticed the new stats. Awesome.
 
Somebody explain the 2nd column to me (most reputation points in last 10 days). I don't understand it.
