A good chance the Big XII is going down.
Intriguing.
Yep. Looks like the Big 12 is done, along with the speculation about Utah to the PAC 10.

If the Big 12 goes down will the MWC get their guarantee?
Take 6 BIG 12 schools, take on Boise St and Fres. St. +BYU, Utah, and TCU.
You're only left with Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, and Baylor because Nebraska and Missouri supposedly have outside offers. I think you take any of the 4 big 12 stragglers if they are willing. Give me some Kansas basketball in the Mountain West and I'm happy.
Just remember kids it's about the students and not the money!
Wow, what a difference 4 days makes.
I think it's a very good move. Shows the conference is being proactive.
Utes may still be in the picture with the PAC.
Not so fast, my friend...I said the following in the Colorado to the PAC thread:
IOW, the MWC could be being very much reactive with this move, if you know what I mean.
So you think Utah is going to get in with the Texas movement instead of Baylor(or whomever), or only if Texas to the Pac 10 falls apart?
Boise State is now an MWC member.
