I think we picked BPA with Burke... I'm fine with him just as a set up man, floor general and a 3pt shooter...
we just need some star power right now..

I would right now... but obviously that could change after seeing the season unfold.
You're seriously going to question if those two are the right picks if the Jazz got #1 and #2? The beauty of it is that you can play Wiggins at the 2/3 and you can play Parker at the 3/4. Basically you could have either one on the floor at all times.
Of course it could change. It looks awesome on paper (and that is likely how it changes), but what if Parker looks underwhelming and Randle (i.e.) looks like a superstar?
That stuff happens.
As of right now, I agree, and I suspect it remains, but it's luda to think that couldn't change.
If we draft Randle do we let go of Kanter or Favors.
Go!!
I certainly accept people changing their minds as more information is gathered. As of right now there is not an argument to be made.

not immediately. Figure out who the two best are and then keep all three.
One thing I'm worried about Jabari though is he seems to have 'Old Man's body'
Agreed but that can also be a benefit.

Amen.

Start by putting Randle at the 3 like a young Josh Smith and see where that takes us. Then move someone if you absolutely have to. I'd be surprised if we got fair value for Kanter or Favors though.
Enough of playing guys out of position IMO...
- Jefferson, not a true center
- Sap, not big enough for a solid PF
- Favors, is he a PF, or better as a blocking C
- Kanter... can he play C fulltime?
Kanter should play C on defense and slow down his guy with strength giving time for Favors to help.
Kanter should play PF on offense just because Favors has no offense away from the rim.
Without seeing him play in college are we sure Jabari is a "sure thing"?
As it stands right now I do see a potential for someone like him to bust.
Hopefully he comes out in college, and puts all doubts aside.
Watching all the game tape out there I don't see in him what I saw in Wiggins or Lebron, in HS.
