What's new

Breaking Bad (thread will have *spoilers*)

Btw, if you listen to podcasts normally, add the official BB one to your list. I really enjoy hearing the behind the scenes as we get into the last 4-5 episodes.

I just started watching Breaking Bad on Roku - up to episode 7 season one.

I'll start reading this thread in a couple of weeks.

I was right on substance. They weren't going to end the story with a bunch of episodes left.... whether it was 10 episodes or 5 , doesn't matter, my point was correct.

Haven't been to the Breaking Bad thread in a few weeks, and I haven't read every page of the thread, but I get the gist of it: MoreFeasts ruined the thread.

thx

Oh well. It's just a thread. I'm not the one who made it about me, that was you guys.

I watched the show Sunday without watching all the previous episodes.
No regrets.

I really don't want Pinkman to die. That would be a mistake by the writers.

Young Mr. Pinkman keeps screwing things up. His teacher keeps trying to help him out, and this is how Pinkman shows his gratitude?

Serious or trolling? I have no idea.

Walt has ****ed jessie over sooooo many times and generally used and abused him over and over again.

Like the time Walt saved his life?
Like the time Walt gave Jesse a boat load of money?

Like taking a two bit loser and making him a partner in a highly successful new enterprise?
By teaching him science skills at an elite level?

By taking care of every problem and obstacle that threatens the two of them?
BY giving a low life dug dealer a chance to start a new life?

Cherry picking at its finest.

Sure walt helped jessie sometimes..... but only cause he needed jessie.
He helped jessie in order to help himself 90 percent of the time.

Maybe since you have not watched the show you don't know that walt is actually this dude named hizenburg who kills lots and lots of people and ran a huge meth operation.

You act as if walt is some saint/hero teacher, family man that only wants what's best for jessie.

They are both pretty horrible people but at least one of them seems to feel guilty and remorseful about what he had done (jessie)

Clearly Walt cared about Jesse. Just like Hank said in the last episode.
Jesse was rejected by his parents. Walt was the only person in his life that cared about him, or that he could count on.
He was home free, but he is messing things up with his self destructive tendancies
At its core , this is the story of a teacher that is a teacher to a troubled student.
This is the most important relationship in the show.

If Jesse cared so much, he could take the money Walt gave him , and use it and the rest of his life to make the world a better place.
But at his core he just wants to be a rebellious screw up.

...

Nope, incorrect

Everytime jessie has tried to leave the drug business.
Walt has pulled him back in.

Sure jessie is a huge ****up

And walt is a cold bkooded killer and drug kingpin.

Like I said they are both pretty bad dudes.

Its just funny that you want to try to make walt out as some heroic saint, while jessie is just some scumbag who is so lucky to have walt.

I mean look at jessie right now in the show..... he is miserable, probably suicidal and doesn't care about anything.

If he never met walt he would probably be like his two buddies (I firget thier names) who are by no means doing great but at least seem somewhat happy and able to tell jokes and laugh and have fun.

Jessie is depressed, likely facing prison or death..... good job of mentoring by walt for sure

But he can't take the money and use it for anything because he has a conscience and feels to much guilt because its drug money.
Jessie doesn't feel like he deserves the money.

Oh and he tried to make the workd a better place when he went around giving all his money away...... hell he gave a homeless dude a huge stack of cash

I never made Walt out as a heroic saint, but Jesse's current state is his own choice.
Stop saying I said things I didn't say.

Oh and he tried to make the workd a better place when he went around giving all his money away

no, it was a stupid act of rebellion.
If he really wanted to make the world a better place, he should think about what he is doing.

Walt showed "caring about making the world a better place" in his interaction with Tuco.
Walt has showed "caring...." in his interaction with Jesse.
If Jesse wanted to get clean and get a job at McDonalds, he could have done so.
