Why? He should pos rep me. After all I explicitly told them NOT to google "HENTAI", and then they especially should NOT look at the images after searching for "HENTAI", and every under-age person does everything any adult tells them to all the time.

So tell us, did you get your wrist slapped?

Not yet. I am thinking of posting one of those "this is how you google" links, you know to show the wee ones what NOT to do, to see if I can help things along.

I feel like i can contribute;

One of the things NOT to do, don't google basketball player Evan Fournier with only his last name. NEVER.

Guys, no unusual results for me with those searches. Is it my family filter?

I just now opened this thread.
I chose Wiggins.

I don't need to make the playoffs to validate what our young players can be. Theyre a great nucleus but lacking a franchise player. I'll take that through the draft and watch the chips fall where they may. (Rafters)

Not sure. But if thats so, you should be thankful for the family filter, cause when i made that mistake i saw some nasty things.

Yep it's my family filter, checked it.

I'm happy with that because I have two great nephews, one is 4 the other 7, and I'm online all day with them, teaching them everything about computers and internet and all.

Though I don't know how I can protect them while I'm not nearby. Especially while the interwebz is full of weirdos like LogG.

Yes it is. And kids, NEVER go to google images, click on Safe Search, then turn safe search off. NEVER DO THIS! Then definitely don't search for hentai or fournier.

DON'T DO IT! DON'T!

Whew, catastrophe averted.

Reps appreciated for all my efforts to protect the hundreds if not thousands of little ones that peruse this site every day.

Dis right here

Is this an option? I posted this earlier in another thread.
Golden State is gonna blow up this year, have injuries and the team will fall apart. The Jazz will end up with the sixth worse record on their own, Golden State will end up in the eighth. Then both of us will win the lottery ending up with the 1-2 picks. So we get both Parker and Wiggans with no trades involved. The end...

So he had a decent year and was the best PG available. Was he really the best player available at that point? I get a feeling we may have biffed this one.

My guess is most GM's viewed Burke as BPA where we picked. He was mocked to go higher (at the time of the combine there was even talk that he was in the running to go #1).

I see you've been saving that one.. LOL

If he develops in the way that I think he can, I think he could definitely be worth the pick... In college he had great leadership skill... great 3pt shooter... High Assist/TO ratio... great shooting % off the dribble... Seems to me those are things that can be translated to the NBA level.

It's such a pity that his dad is his agent and I don't think he had prepared Burke well enough in terms of pre-draft training going into the draft.. hence the average Summer League showing...

So I admittedly didn't follow the draft this year very closely. Why was everyone so excited about Burke?

Didn't seem to make too much noise here either.

I think because he had a great year in college and was the player of the year
This. Also because he does everything well. Has poise.. and is mentally tough. Also, this draft was weak... so getting anything at all out of it is a plus.

Fish said a great season.. not a decent one. He also said POY not best PG available.
(See the first sentence highlighted and quoted)

Burke may not live up to expectations.. but his body of work vs. a couple summer league games suggests the negative nancies need to be more patient and let the guy play a few games. I am much more optimistic about him than this board as a whole.
