I imagine he has lost a lot of that athleticism that he used to be so dependent on.

He might be my least favorite player ever. Him and Richard Jefferson. And they both are on the Jazz for the time being. Perrrfect.
 
Brian Cook? Isn't that the dude that changed his name to Bison Delli and moved to the arabian penisula to run a desalinization plant?
 
I hate training camp rosters. I see players on non guaranteed contracts as either a threat to current roster players time or the underdog to root for and then have ripped from me right before the season starts. As far as I'm concerned, there are only ten players on the team, the starters and the primary backups.
 
Clearly, Tyco needs some washed-up vets on the roster so he can start them and make the young guys "earn their minutes". Because Brian Cook is a guy who, you know, he's been around, he knows how to play in this league.

Just goes to show you that all bison in america will eventually be killed off. His only hope of survival was moving to antelope island.

In Cook's draft class were Lebron and Melo. The Jazz that year drafted Sasha Pavolic ahead of him and that was the year Mo Williams and Kyle Korver were drafted as well in the second round. I'm smelling NBA title.
 
I wanted Brian Cook on Utah's roster years ago. I thought he would be a good back-up to Memo, considering he plays a similar, out-side shooting big man game (although not as good). I thought Utah should have traded D-Fish for Cook and Jordan Farmar. That would have been a fair trade.

He's long in the tooth for an NBA player. Plus it looks like he didn't play last year so he must need the $$$.
