What's new

Wooohoooo - Bill Oram is GONE!

Monson was saying he was up for an NY Times job too. He was a ghost among Jazz reporters. I wonder where this mysterious great rep came from.

"Jody Genessy: Enes Kanter to the departing Bill Oram: I hear you're leaving. Serious? To the Lakers? I'm not going to shake your hand."

Hell yeah Kanter! Build that fire and make sure to let the Lakers know when you see them!

LOL Kanter knows what's what. Good boy.

I'm interested to see whether Oram steps up his game and puts out more effort in his reporting. Kevin Ding was really well respected here (Los Angeles) by fans and other media. But considering OC Register setup a paywall last year, I doubt many will be reading Oram if produces anything good anyways.

Ditto re: Ding. He's good. I like Ding.

For today's Turkish lesson I want to explain a word in Turkish: Oram

"Oram" is a word which is often used as "my place there" to adress a body part in Turkish. And usually that refers to a certain body part. (Ora (there) m (suffix "my") = Oram)

Today's lesson is over folks!
