Jamaal Tinsley Receiving Interest From Jazz.

My instincts are the Jazz do nothing, but to the public/fans make it look as if they're trying and exploring options rather than just sitting tight.

Tinsley was an absolute consummate professional during his stint with the Jazz. I would prefer a player like Bongo or Machado, but we could do far worse than Tinsley

Hell bring Tinsley in as a player coach. I love the man.

I was thinking the same thing. I think I remember Tinsley saying something that he wanted to get into coaching when he retired. As a coach, he would just be insurance and he would be deactivated when everyone is healthy, or activated when there is an injury.

This is not a good idea. I can see this fracturing things in the locker room. He's got what one more year until they put him on the ice berg to float out to sea.

How? From all reports Tinsley was a great locker room presence. What are you basing this off of?

Sure, he knows the system, but the system has changed this year because we have players that can run the pick and roll. Not that Tinsley can't run the pick and roll, but old habits are hard to break. I say no, though I won't be too upset if it happens.

Tinsley is the man and would be a great mentor for our youngsters at the position...unlike John Chucker III.

He's a pass first PG that's played heavy minutes with both Kanter and Favors - he'll help in their development which is all I care about. It can't possibly be worse than watching JLIII do his poor man's Nate Robinson impersonation.

And after Burke returns make Tinsley anAssistant Coach for Alex Jensen after Corbin gets his *** canned.
