BTW, do you remember when I was in St. George last fall and we were going to meet but I canceled? That's when the craziness with my ex-wife hit the fan. Her affairs are crazy stories that would have made headlines (both because of who she was doing and because of what they did as a result) if I had chosen to publicize the story.

anyhow, I do have a legitimate regret to add to this thread...

In the early 90's we owned a ski condominium in Breckinridge, Colorado that we sold after about 3 years. It was probably dumb to sell it and I wish we had kept it.

I almost moved to Seal Beach. Ended up stuck in Southern Utah. Damn you fate!!! Damn you!!!

Seal Beach is kinda a bummer. Long Beach is getting better, but everything east and south of there is meh.

Southern Utah is great. I'd live there if the right opportunity came along.

For me, the LA thing is all about the areas surrounding downtown (but not including downtown). I like visiting other areas, but this is the only place I'd live in this great expanse.

Southern Utah is amazing as far as outdoor activities go. There is no social nightlife.

I'm sure this will be hard to believe, but Louisville, KY has the #1 ratio in the nation for restaurants per capita (excluding destination resort areas).

Fantastic restaurants in Louisville. As good as anything I've had anywhere in the world.

That's the funny thing. If you ended up being happy with where you are - can you really regret anything that you've done?
