I agree, but Kanter needs to use his strengths, i.e., basketball moves and power. He needs to pound Jordan all game long in the paint--just make him loath having to come into the paint. Don't let him be comfortable.
 
Clark has a long release, but he can hit if he's open. Needs some fancy passing. Good drive and kick / post and kick
 
Surprising game so far. Gobert beasting, Favors has O, Hayward taking over.
Still to improve: Burks looks lost, Kanter having hard time against Jordan, is it possible that Lucas is worse than Tinsley?

For sure. I have just been surprised at how out of place he's looked. He has not been pounding guys or being aggressive on the boards. Last year in preseason, Kanter had huge rebounding games, and he just abused players by pounding them with his body. I hope that comes back. Couple that with his shooting ability and he could be be very good.
 
Loved Favors last night, and he's killing it so far tonight. If he continues on this path, would that make Kanter expendable? This makes it possible to keep Burks, and maybe pick up another pick in the lotto this up coming draft. Just a thought.
 
I really don't care how raw Gobert is on offense. He shut the entire Clips team down and the Jazz went on a big run with him on the floor. Guy is a game changer. Plus, it's not like Biedrins is an offensive force. Also, Ty should let Burks handle the ball on the second unit and have Clark play the 2. We get bigger and have no need for Machado or Hudson that way.
 
When Enes is playing well he's euphoric and can't hide it. I feel like there's some mental stuff occurin'

Burks is looking more and more like a role player who cannot shoot and has great athletic tools. So I wouldn't worry about keeping him.

Favors can't play two positions at once...
 
good half for the Jazz. Starters played well and the Bench did something. Clark and the bear were fun to watch
 
We need to give Kanter at least 20 games to regain his form. It is too early but I think it is mostly mental.
 
Machado needs to be cut at the end of this road trip, and the Tinsel Train resigned. There's no other options
