3-29 from 16ft out or more during the preseason. It's like friggin Ronnie Brewer all over again. I'm not saying Burks needs to be Hornacek but he will have to keep the defenders honest. Here's hoping he gets this fixed ASAP!
 
I think with more consistent playing time that will improve. Wait til the season starts and it's for real. This is just a small sample size. He has shot better before.

But remember, he is the one guy that consistent-minute-giving-by-coach is totally screwed around with. The guy just cannot know what role is given to him.

We should be thankful he still has his sanity.
 
He's forcing it a little bit, but he's playing with bad players most of the time.

Hopefully it's just a shooting slump. Last preseason he shot lights out, and sat the bench to start the year. This preseason he shoots crappy and will be first off the bench... Just saying.

Burks was the only bright spots at times this preseason and now he is the Scapegoat!!!!

Burks needs some consistency this season. It is unbelievably hard for a player to play well when he doesn't know his role, doesn't know his minutes, plays with inconsistent players and is getting mixed signals from the coach. This kid can straight up ball, he just needs someone to believe in him and give him a fair and legit chance. I believe in Burks
 
From my view, the excuses are meaningless. He needs to prove he can do it both physically and mentally or take his seat. He has not demonstrated solid decision making or consistency in any facet of his game. He has been given an opportunity and he needs to take it.

Corbin gave him a very defined role as scoring off the bench. What more would you like?

I think a shooting guard shooting 10% from the outside is worthy of critique.
