Not sure what it means that the Ute fans (Joe B. excluded) have stopped replying with words. Trying to live up to the Ute fan stereotype by finding it too hard to write sentences?
Not a Ute fan

The life of a BYU fan:
Their three best games come in Sept. All summer spent talking up how great they are.
Start out 1-2. Talk about firing their OC/Bronco.
Then the easy teams hit the schedule. All the sudden they rip off 4 wins in a row.
Their QB is a Heisman contender, their WR is the best in the nation, blah, blah, blah. If Utah is at the end of the year, then they talk about how they will beat Utah by 3 TD's and how all of Utah's wins were flukes. If they already lost to Utah, then talk about how Utah is lucky they don't have to play them now, because if they did, BYU would kill them.
Lose to Utah.
Play in some crap bowl game. Beat some crap team.
Repeat.
LOL.
You are why I don't ever want to play BYU again.

P.S.Must be rough knowing that every single football poll out there thinks BYU is better than Utah right now, despite the loss a few weeks ago.
Absolute lies. Just silly. Silly little zooby lies. What a grand world you must live in.
AP poll: Utah 4 points. BYU 1 point (thanks Harmon).
USA today poll: BYU 3 points, Utah 0.
So, in the two human polls, Utah was higher than BYU on one and visa versa.

LOL. Silly zoob, football is for big boys.
One more tidbit for your awesome "national" team. Utah has played two games on ESPN. BYU has played almost all their games on ESPN. Guess what? Viewership between BYU and Utah are pretty even. LOL. Exposure is awesome, isn't it?
edit: decided to delete some stuff I typed. Not worth extending this further
I caught it before you deleted it. You mentioned that you're surprised that the Utes don't have a wider national audience, due to them being in the PAC-12 and what not?
Seriously?
Maybe because BYU is the sole DIV-I collegiate-representative of an American-based religious group numbering in the millions?
The fact that a supposed-secular college in Utah has equal viewership to BYU is purely embarrassing for BYU-- and wholly representative of their football woes over the lsat several years.
Not quite... the Ute audience is much more regional. What I said is that I'm surprised that more people haven't watched the Ute games because all of the Pac12 audience in theory cares about their games. That's a huge fanbase to draw from.
I don't find it embarrassing. I'm not sure why you do. Not all Mormons are BYU football fans, after all. I'm not sure what percentage of LDS youth in the U.S. even end up going to BYU, but I'd assume that it's small... perhaps 25%.
That being said, while the audiences are equal, the distributions aren't. Utah's more regional (here in Utah and in Pac 12 country), whereas BYU's is more national (here in Utah, then spread across the country). I suspect it's that aspect that made BYU attractive for ESPN.
