Would Burks have come back in the game had Harris not fouled out? I say no way in hell. He'd already sat from the 7 minute mark to the 2 minute mark. The writing was on the wall. The decision had been made.

lol

Wow I'm glad I'm not going crazy here. Thank you. It was insanity. "fatigue"

Exactly. Fatigue, you rest him for the next break and then maybe a minute or two. You don't wait until the 2 minute mark and three or four timeouts. I guess those claiming fatigue feel it was just a coincidence that he came in right when Harris fouled out - not a moment sooner.

Nitpick: He came in at 2:58. He sat for 4 minutes.

"Good to see you all this evening... I know for some of you it has been a while and as I scan over the congregation I see some new faces may I even say some of our lost sheep have finally made it into the fold...

We would like to take this time to share our praises for the one who built this humble building we are gathered in today... The driver of the basket, The drawer of fouls the jacker of the knife, the disher of dimes for his apostles.... The crashes of the boards.... The man who will take our jazz into the promise land... Yes, yes I am talking about non other than the Great Houdini himself the Almighty...

Alec Burks!!!!!!

Can I get an Amen????

The difference between worthless Ronnie Brewer and Burks' strength is that even without a jumpshot, a guy that explosive to the basket WITH the ball has to be guarded and can even draw help.

Burks was awesome tonight. We'll see if he can be any kind of consistent.

Also, not to be too repetitive, but his instincts/abilities around the basket are special and you can't teach them.

Yep. Really, if he can add just a mediocre jumpshot and tighten his handle a little bit he could be very good. He's close.

Corbin needs to close out games with Burks on the floor, more than anyone else on the team, he as that swagger/confidence and fearlessness about him. Burks needs to be our go-to guy in crunch time.

"And the girls go
Doo do doo do doo do do doo..."

Very nice for Alec to have his breakout game. We've now had all four of the Core Four show up at least once so far with a great game.

Now we just need them to all show up at the same time!
