I can't believe I'm saying this, but the way things are looking I'd be willing to explore trading Favors and focus on developing Gobert. Favors just isn't doing anything on offense that other players can't do, and he's not doing anything on defense or on the boards that Gobert can't do. We can get better performance from the PF spot than this.

I also cannot believe no one has picked up a tech. Sometimes, good coaching is waking up your lifeless team by picking up a tech and showing that at least someone gives a damn.
 
Hopefully, Kanter scores more than JV does and we can all find great solace in mocking AKMVP!

That is probably the stupidest thing I have ever heard, no offense. The problem isn't Favors, its not having good players around him and a point guard. I can't really write what I'm thinking. It's just people are over reacting and need to have some patience. Favors hasn't had enough time on the floor, or experience, or in his new role.
 
The problem with Kanter's man to man defense is not he is not putting effort but he is doing it wrong. People keep shooting over him or driving past him and this started late last season and wasn't the case his rookie season and early last year. I am truly puzzled.

I agree. Could you imagine? Who if we trade Favors is going to rebound or play defense? It would be like Al Jefferson all over again.

Not from what I am seeing this game. He got beat three straight possessions because his legs were straight up and down. No defensive stance.
 
Favors shot gets flat at time. Needs more arc. He was doing that in the first few games, but it feels likes he's reverting to bad tendencies. He needs to be reminded of that.
