Hayward is putting up nice stats. But watching the game he doesn't look as good as his numbers do. Seems like he puts up stats when the game is already over TBH.

Then why isn't anyone else doing it. He's one of the few that gives a damn the entire game. To say he's only putting up stats in blowouts is beyond rediculus!

Well what were his stats in the first half? Game was already over by the second. I like Hayward, just think he's not as good as his stats show. Someone will look just at his stats and say 'max player!' But I don't think he is.

I think Kanter has been a little slow out of the gate after recovering from his injury. I expect him to have some break out games here soon.

Way to completely gloss over my question in avoidance. You obviously don't have a leg to stand on, and I never said he was a max player.

Well considering we only have 6-7 NBA level players on the roster, his stats are going to be inflated this year. I think GMs are smart enough to realize that come free agency.

He put up numbers close to this on a better team last year. Also consider the fact that Hayward is the one player on this team that receives the most attention on this team, and having as few threats on offense doesn't exactly set Hayward up for success. Most bad teams have more options then this jazz team does. It's basically him and Kanter to start the game.

I'm not arguing with you. I'm just discussing the thread topic. I like Hayward, he's been our best player. But in my opinion he isn't helping us 'win' as much as he is putting up good numbers in blowout losses. You're welcome to disagree.

How is he supposed to help us win when he has no help and no coach and this is the first he's ever been the main option on the team and is still very young. And yet has done more then anyone on the team. Put some more decent vets on the team and he might have a better chance to win. He can't do it by him self. No one can!!! This is my whole point.
