What's new

Jamaal Tinsley waived according to the internet

Whoever they bring in will be better than Lucas. Lucas may be the worst point guard the Jazz have ever had, and that is saying something.

Dont think there is any doubt the Jazz have the worst point guard play in the NBA.

No Jimmer. Just no.

The last thing Burke needs when he comes back is tarted BYU fans screaming for Jimmer to start.

I think it's pretty obvious what's going on here.

The Jazz are making a play at Rondo.

If that doesn't work out, I say they pick up Jimmer, give Spycam season tickets behind the bench and 15 huge Jimmer fans all around him... then watch the magic happen.

I'm guessing Burks starts at point tomorrow.

Unpossible.

Burks starting is not allowed.
I guarantee lucas starts instead of burks

Marshall is Tinsley, except younger and without the handles. Just keep Tinsley if that's what you're going for.

Except Tinsley is worse now than he's ever been. Because he's older. If Kendall Marshall is Tinsley before he totally lost it, then that's an upgrade and maybe even a player you keep around. One of the reasons I came around on Marshall (I was not at all high on him until the tail-end of the 2012 season) was seeing how Tinsley seemed to spark The Four with just his passing ability even though he couldn't shoot or get by anybody.

If Kendall Marshall is simply not an NBA player, I want to see it with my own eyes.

I have to say I love rumors floating around, so this is kind of fun.

The front office wants us to be competitive, but lose a lot of games at the same time.

Ah-Pierre.

Why not lose Lucas too, and try Pierre and Marshall? Playing major minutes if either of them show anything then he becomes an asset....something Tinsley and Lucas were never going to be.

The **** are you talking about? He was a good backup. Oh wait, he didn't score a ton and was short, so he must've been totally worthless.

Correct me if I am wrong but Brevin is the guy who missed around 50 straight shot attempts right? Though now you have me thinking about Hart running now the shot clock and it is bringing back bad memories

If by 50 you mean 18 over 9 games then yes. But he played good defense, was a great passer, and knew his strengths and weaknesses. Consistent player, could play in a system, and didn't make a lot of mistakes, even if he provided very little individual scoring (which is still leaps and bounds better than Jason Hart who was as bad a scorer but put up shots and couldn't run an offense). The backup point's role when you're backing up Stockton or Deron was to not lost the game in those minutes, and Knight did a fine job.
