Was hoping Utah could win one against GS, but with Sacramento, Milwaukee and Washington all sucking wind, I'm hoping the Jazz continue to play .100 ball.
 
The Bucks are scaring me a bit. They've had major injury problems to start the season, and I have a feeling they're not exactly going to rush those players back.
 
Wizards and Knicks don't own their picks, so no incentive to tank. As for the bucks, herb kohl has said that tanking is immoral, and the kings are the wildcard in the top five of tank rank right now. Boogies team could go off for a bunch of wins, or self implode.

They are protected though, so if things aren't going to well they could try and scoop up their pick.
 
As I have said before, the Jazz need to be especially terrible NOW because they will improve and the schedule will get easier.

Yup.

Still though, both teams started the season with serious playoff aspirations. Don't think either will tank, and won't suck enough go interfere with our tank.

The Bucks have never tanked and there has been many years where they should have. Lets hope they didn't become smart now.

Any chance that protection information and other simple notes about team incentive could be included in the original post? That would make this list more informative than the regular standings which are easily googled, and it would help us see who the real competition is.

sure thing. give me a day though, that way I can make sure I get it right.
 
Interesting look at the next ten games from Locke today. Went 1-9 in the first ten and he thinks that 1-9 in this next ten is about as good as we can expect. Looking at the schedule he is prob right. Only one I see us winning is the home game against the Suns.

So we really could be looking at a 2-18 record to start the season. Thats a pretty big hole.
 
The protections and picks you posted looks different than the list I saw elsewhere sometime last week. Now I gotta go find it and compare....

And thanks by the way that is a lot of useful info.
