Following potential 2014 draftees

Then watched the alley oop dunk in slow motion and he catches the ball outside of the backboard area and gets high enough that his elbow is at the rim height and throws it down.

Btp...... you have not addressed this part of the post yet

In response to BTP:

True shooting 50%, eFG% 44, 15% TO ratio, 25% USG, 99 ORtg, 108 DRtg, .53 WS/48, and even .064 lower in free throw ratio(that's free throws to field goals) compared to his last years.
There's nothing sexy about that except for his 25% assist ratio and 15% DReb percentage.
Yeah he's no 2nd option. 25% is actually low 2nd option usage numbers. When he getts back to 3rd/4th option, who BTW should not get more than $8M if not an elite defender, his numbers will increase.

Lol at using 'advanced stats' from a 13 game sample. Thank God you're not the Jazz GM tbh

Well last year he was a 3rd option, so we have no bigger sample size of him being first option. It just looks bad up to now. Maybe he changes it, maybe he won't we'll see.

Griffin was far more powerful than Gordon is.

Gordon may be a similar athlete, and a better shooter (obviously), but Griffin powered over everybody in college. Hell, he still powers over people.

His power and athleticism combo is what got people so excited about him.

And BTP has to be trolling about Parker, I mean...I know I'm a homer, but I saw several scores from the post, and if you think he has a 25" vertical...all I can say is wow. Just wow.

Yet still the Clips can't win anything. That Clips roster has a ton of pieces. If Blake was that good playing with an All-Star PG they better in the least make the WCF.

As I've said before, BTP is one of the better posters here, by far. The fact he has an opinion that is either lone or in the vast minority is refreshing, imo. Also, at least he's not trolling or it's just some tired schtik.

Thanks for your contributions, BTP.

Not playing defense paired with inconsistent offense and incomplete offense(so few facets...) is not exactly championship recipe. That's why I like Gordon more. He defends.
If you ask fans to say how much they value defense, most are prolly going to say 2/3 offense, 1/3 defense, but when they are in a postion to really select a player for an fantasy team most are going to be like 5/6 offense, 1/6 defense in reality. I'm more of a 3/5 offense, 2/5 defense guy.
Thibs is 90% defense, 10% offense. Not healthy as well.

btw nickkk you mentioned getting the trifecta I would say getting the trifecta would be drafting wiggns, Parker and randle.

trade Hayward to Phoenix their pick becomes #3 - randle
our pick #2 - Parker
then favors to sactown they get #1 - wiggins

then trade kanter for embiid

Burke, Jimmer, Neto
wiggins, Goodwin (from the Phoenix trade)
Parker, rush
randle, Thompson
embiid, Gobert

I like that team better but remember this was all done in jest

A man has to dream. Why are you putting Rush on the team. He is done with the Jazz. I see you snuck Jimmer on the fantasy roster. LOL. You're going to need more than one ball on that team. My comments are in jest too.

well that is true about rush just had to fill that spot with something.
I am a jimmer fan. he does have one nba quality and that is shooting. i think he would be good paired with goodwin.

i would entertain any of those trade idea

Hayward to phoenix for goodwin and their draft pick (at the trade deadline) then if there has to be another piece for filler
and kanter or favors to sactown for their pick and thompson (at the trade deadline)

I get all the Parker love, and I think he's a fabulous player, but let's not be blind. We need to keep our eye on the real prize of this draft, and that's Wiggins. If we end up with the first pick and take Parker over Wiggins I will be beyond pissed. An athlete like Wiggins doesn't come around often, and I see him dominating the league in 3 years.

Bottom line... We need mor Wiggins talk.

This is how I see it. Parker will make this team a potential playoff team just by getting him on the team. If you add Wiggins it will take two more years to get to that same level but by the end of his rookie contract he could/will be an All-Star/All NBA team guy.

frank.. I love ya bro.. but your trolling is way too transparent. You should strongly consider just going old school bringinit and drop the crappy trolling.. or troll better.

Pretty lame, Trick.

I don't care for extended BTP type debates on college kids with little video so I'll save this comment to bump when his 6'10" wingspan puts up a 10'4" max vertical at the combine. The kid does some stuff well. He has great footwork on the outside and in to get around guys and then create space, but he's quite underathletic for the NBA and already has a tough time finishing strong against highschoolers because he cannot jump. Look back at all the missed easy dunks at the Hoop Summit because his hand gets barely above the rim. Then notice how he compensates by jumping horizontally to sneak past defenders. That can work well at that level to get the kid some scoring but it won't be close to enough in the NBA.

I want no part of him and have said more than I wanted to on it. Throw it into the troll bin for 6-months.

Damn your so freaking smart. Exactly the way I see it.
