Can the C.J. Miles experiment please end?

Having not read much of the thread, I will add my $.02.

CJ is playing well, despite his shooting woes. He's working hard in the zone defense, in transition, and has been tremendous initiating the offense. He'll find his spots as he grows into his role off the bench, but there's more positive there than a lot of people are admitting. CJ should be a top 6th man by the end of the season.

I believe this thread is about ending the CJ Experiment, so my apologies to the CJ wishfulls and those with their heads stuck in the sand trying to drown out the truth. I believe CJ has hit only 1 of his last 17 three point shots. I just checked the Bulls and Korver, the guy we traded so Miles could play, has hit 10 of his last 17. Remember Korver, the player that broke the NBA all time three point accuracy record so we traded him. Not to be rude to the cry baby CJ lovers, but that make Korver 10 time more accurate than the CJ, the Clanker. But CJ did finally make one three last night. Yes, END THE EXPERIMENT!

Korver's defense has been lock-down, too, right?

Do you understand basketball beyond selectively looking at and abusing statistics?

Reality Check: There's a reason we let Korver walk, and that's because no matter how effectively he is offensively, he's just as ineffective, defensively. Same goes for Boozer.

He does not see anything except CJ. And he doesn't see anything about CJ unless it's a missed shot.

lol korver was good at 3s. thats it. Compared to how much cj helps in other ways is way better than korver.

Although I agree that he should be more selective with his shots, I also agree that CJ does a lot of other things that Korver will never do. As long as Kirilenko gets his feet set, I want him shooting threes all day...

At his percentage, selective would be not to shoot at all. That would really help the team. And if you think CJ can play defense then there must a another CJ Miles on the same team that I've never seen.

As for 30% 3's, that's the same point production as 45% 2's, which is around what Al Jefferson shoots. Al Jefferson shouldn't shoot, either, by your logic.

What you see seems to already be inaccurate, so I don't think that's saying much.

Seems to me that 1 for 17 is the same as 16 turn overs. You really think that helps a team to win? This mindless CJ defense is weird.

What's mindless is to give up on a shooter because he's in a slump. And no, it's not the same as 16 turnovers. Any coach will tell you that.

it early guys. Bet they will be games where cj is on fire and brings the team back and lets not forget his d last year on melo in playoffs. Just because your not scoring doesnt mean your not helpin the team. He helps when he on floor cuz other teams respect his shot . Basketball 101 folks, its a game of runs and cj will have his run trust me

A six year slump. If CJ morphed in George W. Bush and continued to miss shots and chase and grab on defense, the CJ faithful would still be scheming and calculating in order to find a way to justify his presence. But fortunately we have "the internets" where even idiots can express themselves.

And notice who has been on the court during these 4th quarters, and who has not been on the court to start the game when we keep getting down big. Not saying its all CJ, but there is a correlation there.

Another crap shooting night for CJ; but he did make some solid contributions elsewhere. Probably his best game of the road trip.
