In 34 minutes of playing time vs. UTEP the great savior Andrew Wiggins scored 6 points. 6 points. I repeat 6 points. I'm sorry guys, but this guy is not the future. We better get Jabari Parker.

How did he look? How were they defending?

Looked to me like they gave up plenty open looks to Selden instead of Wiggins.

You can see that Wiggins is more of an athlete than basketball player at this point. His ceiling is unlimited, but it's a question of where that ceiling relates to his current game. I'm not sure if he's near the floor, near the ceiling, etc. You're betting the house with him and will either end up looking like a genius or will lose your job.

If I'm drafting #1 right now, I would go Parker. He's already got a game made for the pro game. I think he can be a better version of Carmelo Anthony personally.

I don't think anyone could lose their job over taking him, considering the hype surrounding him.

Taking him alone won't lose it. I was referring to if he doesn't pan out that the GM better hit up careerbuilder.com.

I wouldn't make too much of one game as that's a silly interpretation of how well someone will do, but I don't think it can be argued that Parker has been the better prospect thus far, but it's a long way 'til March.

Parker didn't have the greatest shooting night the other night either. That said, I also prefer Parker. Seems like his floor is the highest of all of the possible top picks.

I think Wiggins has the potential to be a great player, but it's going to take some time in the league and a good coach to help the development. I see him as a guy that starts breaking out right when he leaves for another team. I think Parker will be just as great and he'll help right a way. Parker it is for me.

Paul George has completely changed how I look at athletic SGs who don't accomplish much in college (not saying that Wiggins won't).

But Hayward>George right??

dat jazzfanz.com mobile app doe

I'd be curious as to how George would be doing on a team that started John Lucas, and Richard Jefferson for most of the 2013-2014 season thus far.

Nope, this means that he is the perfect player for the Jazz. Corbin has a proven track record of getting the most out of players and Wiggins will not be an exception. Obvi that Bill Self sucks.

Was there this much hype around Marvin Williams before he was drafted?

Not even close at all.

Wiggins has been compared to jordan a lot.

Marvin was thought to be a future all star type player.

Wiggins is thought to be a future hall of famer and in the conversation of greatest of all time
