In 34 minutes of playing time vs. UTEP the great savior Andrew Wiggins scored 6 points. 6 points. I repeat 6 points. I'm sorry guys, but this guy is not the future. We better get Jabari Parker.
You can see that Wiggins is more of an athlete than basketball player at this point. His ceiling is unlimited, but it's a question of where that ceiling relates to his current game. I'm not sure if he's near the floor, near the ceiling, etc. You're betting the house with him and will either end up looking like a genius or will lose your job.
If I'm drafting #1 right now, I would go Parker. He's already got a game made for the pro game. I think he can be a better version of Carmelo Anthony personally.
I don't think anyone could lose their job over taking him, considering the hype surrounding him.

Paul George has completely changed how I look at athletic SGs who don't accomplish much in college (not saying that Wiggins won't).
But Hayward>George right??

I'd be curious as to how George would be doing on a team that started John Lucas, and Richard Jefferson for most of the 2013-2014 season thus far.

Was there this much hype around Marvin Williams before he was drafted?
