I say this by having lived on the west coast, mountain west and south. (CA, UT, WA, CO and MS specifically) I have also spent significant time in AZ, NV, ID, TN, AR and FL.

As for your racism and politicians comment it is your opinion. Which is fine but if it is a fact then prove it please.

I see how it comes off that way but I took it as that America is to large, and ethnically and culturally diverse to judge it based on any one area.

so cowhide mentions Miami and LA but singles out the south as not to be considered .. too much benefit of the doubt stoked. Permaban him.

Hi Australian dude! You should visit southern Utah while you are in salt lake for so long. It is thoroughly enjoyable. Ask PKM or Zulu or ugli to give you some sights to see, or a tour or something. Also, have fun here. Enjoy the new downtown salt lake the Mormons have built, the shopping is nice. The Christmas atmosphere on temple square is good too.

If you make it up north to Jackson hole, you could take a nice snowmobile ride in Yellowstone, or go to a hot spring for a day. Let me know if you plan on making it up that way, I have lots of connections up here as far as lodging and activities go.

Well maybe if the South would stop talking about leaving the USA then I would include them in the family of America. LOL.
