Nobody talks about the questionable Evans defense! I like his effort and the energy he brings but in my opinon he should not play more than 15-20 when Marvin and Favors are back! I have the sensation Corbin prefers Evans more than Kanter!

Not typing someone's name correctly is more of a douche move than calling someone out on it.

You're an "oldtimer." One would think you could use the language properly.

I will never be as good as you and darkwing at typing on a message board. I try to type as fast as possible while watching the game. It doesn't always turn out the best. Thank god you and Darkwing are there to point out the flaws. Idiots. Why always attack other posters instead of just letting these meaningless mistakes go by the wayside. You would rather makes someone feel stupid is why. When you both get older you will realize that whether someone types Aldrich when he means Aldridge doesn't matter. You more of a jerk to point it out than just let it go.

Burks playing the best game of his career against a really good team and gets rewarded by riding the pine.

Should help with his confidence/ psyche

Evans didn't stop aldridge but he didn't let him go ape **** either. He's averaging 23pts a game and he got 24 tonight.

You purposely spell a person's name wrong and I consider that a sign of disrespect. I called you out on it. You went into attack poster mode yourself and got called out on that. You're right. Thank God we're here to call you out on your douche-ness.

I'm just a bit embarrassed for you that in your pathetic attempt to defend Corbin's moronic decision to sit Burks in the 4th quarter that you pulled off the nearly impossible - you made Corbin look smart by comparison.

When Burks was in the game Matthews scored 7 points. Let's give you the benefit of the doubt and assume Burks was on Matthews for all seven points - Burks scored 20!

If that isn't enough for people like you and Corbin who are clueless, if you are going to talk defense, Portland scored 22 points in the last 8 minutes of the 4th that Burks was on the bench - that's 132 points per 48 minutes. Apparently the benching for defensive reasons didn't work out so well. Seriously, try to keep up.

So, how bad is it to mispronounce someone's name when you are the Arena announcer? Last two road games our young frenchman was called Go-bert.
Seems worse to me than misspellings on a message board. Which obviously are epidemic.
 
I Just finished the Jazz after watching Da Bears dominate!
Nice to see Kanter look like a NBA player. Burke was ok. Burks was awesome. So obviously Corbin benched him the 4th Quarter:rolleyes: Jefferson is kinda good but not good enough to average anymore then 15 minutes a game. Evans is fun to watch but not that good. He is way to skinny still. He needs to play a Small Forward not a Big Forward. Nice to see Gobert.. I guess Corbin hates guys with passion so Beens gets all his minutes.

You have to understand that Corbin doesn't subscribe to most analytic methods out there and uses other...more traditional methods to analyze and react to a game. Portland was getting a lot of what they wanted with Matthews initiated offense with Burks on him. That's what I'm sure Corbin saw. Whether it's the right decision is up for debate, but it wasn't an egregious decision either.
