What's Young all bring to the table? Solid shooter from range and looks to be adequate rebounding. Other than that I'm not too familiar with him. Can he be one of those elite perimeter defenders like George?

He has elite defender written all over him.. he's not there, but it's easily seen. Athlete, shooter, IQ, length, handles.. decent vision. Really good player.

anyone being real knows I give the non-homer breakdown... as does hantlers with puke.

I warned against Knight. Was disgusted with MKG at #2. And am concerned with Randle at #3.

(at this point I may move Randle down from 3 to 5 and move Exum and Embiid ahead of him... Smart I'm still not sold on in top 5.

Haha I know

I wasn't a big fan of MKG at #2, I thought that was terrible. Not a lot of skill there. I don't doubt Randle will be able to produce, but his body is just a little too Millsappish for my liking. Not sure how that projects long-term in the NBA. I think he'll get boards and points for sure, but I have him at five as well.

I agree on Smart as well. He seems a lot like D-Will to me, but can't shoot or handle as well. I have doubts that his main move of driving uncontrollably into the lane and getting a foul called on the other team will work very well in the NBA. But if he keeps improving his shooting, handles, and overall halfcourt game, he'll be very good.

was surprised by a few thing... to say the least.

(this guy has been a dead-on source for 15 years)

The commentator on ESPN was saying Embiid's the first guy in 25 years that reminded him of Hakeem. If he's really THAT GOOD then he's definitely worth the #2 pick.

A few teams are going to make some odd picks(they always do)and if we get lucky w/gsw we get two of those guys.

Quick question: How's Randle doing in the PnR so far this season??? I would have thought with his quickness/strength in finishing, Calipari would run that action all game long???
