Sacramento beat Houston and Phoenix is about to beat Golden State. Good day for our picks.

I'm really starting to get my hopes up on the GS pick being in the lottery.

Sactown won and GS lost. Good for the picks. GS is now 1 1/2 games behind the 8th seed and only a 1/2 game out of the 11th spot in the west.

Not bad. Pretty much done with school for the semester (in your face dala), so ima relax for a few weeks. Feels good.

Film study was it? Not a lot of good films on/to be excited about at the moment. Is it me is the industry getting worse and worse?

I used to get excited about films, not so much these days.

Wait, I gotta cheer for the Pelicans, Wolves, Lakers, and Grizzlies along with the Kings? Can't Handle the Pressure!!!!!

Still good ones, just a lot more in total, which means a lot more bad ones too

Very excited about more combinations in the lottery. Also excited seeing GS lose regardless. It's amazing, we've got their 2017 pick unprotected and I project there's a good likelihood they're awful that year. With the exception of Curry, who has a questionable health history as is, the entire team will be absolutely spent by that point. More specifically, these guys won't be contributing (if they're even in the league) and won't be valuable trade assets. So unless they're building through free agency, it's unlikely they'll even field a team (par for them the past 20 years). They've also traded away nearly all of their draft picks and not a single team owes them a pick. Oh, and those second round picks will be icing on the cake. Should be fun to see the fans' reaction in 4 years when, after losing this current pick in 2014, see themselves losing both their picks in 2017 for a completely worthless deal in hindsight. Plus that 2016 second rounder which is likely in the 30s too.

2012 tanking karma's a bitch.

Not to mention Minny knocking on the doors for the 8th seed - they're currently 12-12.

Lakers should also make a push with Kobe coming back. He won't be happy in the lottery - they're currently 11-12.

GSW are in trouble IMO.

The season is long...GS will make the playoffs.

The long season is not Golden State's friend. They traded away their bench and depth for the most part. Also their stars are playing heavy, heavy minutes which really hasn't worked out for those individuals in the past. . .

There's been a few great films released this year, and more I'd like to see. They're just films that only like .1% of the population has heard of (nerdy film students like me), and you have to go to film festivals and stuff to see them (not typically played in theaters). If you're in to art films, I can definitely give you some recommendations. There's been some really interesting stuff made in recent years.

?? You reckon?? What are you "good ones"?

Hell, just this year I've seen Gravity, Short term 12, 12 years a slave, mud, dallas buyer's club

That's just off the top of my head, and I liked all these movies

And definitely agree with spycam, most of the best ones are independent movies that not many see
