I hate to break it to you since you sound so satisfied, but we've climbed out of the lead. It's pretty damn tough to be worse than the Bucks... and there are a bunch of other teams it looks like we might not be able to be worse than for much longer, either. Dennis, please save us from ourselves!

Winning percentage doesn't matter in this. I think that the leader in the loss column matters more. I know we have a win on them, and you could look at it that way, but Ill just be happy knowing we lead the loss column.
I don't think it will take much for them to keep up with our losses, especially if we keep winning.
Their record will be inflated a little since they are playing Philly, Washington, Orlando, Boston, Cleveland, New York, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Charlotte and Brooklyn 3-4 times each. That is anywhere from 33-44 games. They are bound to win some of those.
Utah gets to play Sactown, Lakers, Memphis and Minny. That is 12-16 games. We have the harder road and those eastern teams will limit each others tank.
Hoping the Jazz tank right. Go go DL!

The way I see it, being behind in the win column is far more important. The team with the fewest wins controls their destiny. The team with the most losses could simply get passed by once the other teams play as many games as they have.

Having the 5th worst record does not give us the 5th pick. The most likely place the pick for the 5th worst team falls is 6th, but we could end up with the 8th pick in that scenario. Here's hoping DL does the right thing and guides us into last place.

The top tier in this draft seems to be about 5 deep (or 6 if you count Smart). It's still early but it doesn't appear like any dark horse is gonna join that elite, runaway group.
So I think you're right, I hope we at least get a top #5 pick.
