What's new

Following potential 2014 draftees

They were hailed as the #1 PG and #1 SG coming out of High School. I like them, but they're learning how to play team ball.
They're both a bit slow and could be average, at best, defenders at the NBA level.

I think it's way too early though, considering it's almost an entirely all-freshman team and they're only like 12 games into their collegiate careers... not to mention they're pretty damn good as it is....... but I think their games may not translate well to the NBA.

I literally knew nothing about them going into the season, but I expected them to be much more athletic. Thought they'd be more like Wall, Bledsoe, Evans, Rose, etc. Even Teague was faster imo.

Were they ranked so highly because of their height and skill? Or were they also assumed to be superior athletically in college? Or, at least more superior than they currently are?

Do these questions make sense?

Makes sense.

It was size, skill, and competitve 'it'.

They were assumed to be pedestrian athletically.

He's no Rashad Vaughn tbh

No he is not and he will be rebel say my sources.

Is anyone here wanting some Gary Harris with that gs pick? Dude is off this year thus far, but he has that it factor and all around game that looks to translate nicely on the association.

Who cares anymore. After an epic offseason and start to the year it's over.

Pack it in.

Both our pick and the GSW pick are looking pretty pretty bad...

That's' what you get when you start playing the draft game...

What I don't like about twins in general is they don't seem to have the fire in their belly to be the best they can be, they don't have the quote, unquote, "Hunger", in their genes.

Too afraid of leaving the other one behind.

I was in love with andrew harrison

Combo of his crap play and burke good play has broken me heart

I think we end up with the 7th and 18th pick. GS will have injuries and does not have the bench to compete without one of their 6 dudes missing time. The 7th pick still puts us in a position to potential win the lottery and if not land a potential all star. Everyone is so hung up on Jabari that they seem to be missing all the other amazing players in this draft. Tbt, Jabari is going to be special and fits like a magnum does to my junk in Utah, but we have some special on this team me thinks. Trey is looking like a potential top 5 pg, favors is improving so much and Hayward is the ultimate glue player. Add anyone of the top 7 players in the draft to this group and I can't see why we should be disappointed. I'd also trade kanter with that 18 pick for a pick in the 8-10 range and a young vet rotation player. Ed Davis?

I think you might have missed the memo.

This draft is only 6 deep brah. We get the 7th pick - and we might as well kiss the Chips goodbye.

As much as it all sickens us it's not looking good for our dream players. Before you go ****ting the bed there is light at the end of the tunnel. Aaron Gordon would help this team. He's a winner. Big time player, from a big national top ranked program, and likes the spotlight. I've been pimping Gordon harder than anyone, for longer than anyone. It's time some of you accept that he is our reality, and while he's not the top player in this draft, HE WILL MAKE OUR TEAM BETTER. HE CAN HIT JUMP SHOTS.

and mark my words he will be better than Gordon Hayward.

Gordon > Gordon

Vaughn - I'm hearing he's legit open and it's dead-even between the rebs and cyclones.. with UK coming strong late.
Most believe UK has too much ground to make up and in the end the ties to the staff at ISU is too much to overcome and he goes there. But I don't think there's a decision atp.
