Because I had several scouts gush about him that had seen him play and scouted him in person. Whereas I don't have much to go on personally, I am riding the coattails of scouts employed to know this stuff by NBA teams. Might they be wrong? Of course they could.. but it's not completely 'blind.'

No, not at all. And that wasn't meant to be a jab at you, just saying it's silly to trust YOU on Exum but not the scouts when the only reason you've pimped Exum is because of what said scouts have told you (I'm sure you understood what I was saying, though).

Never said I trusted Exum because PKM does, just that I'm keeping tabs. Even said in my other post, I that I don't have an opinion on Exum, but that I would form one closer to the draft, but I do respect PKM's opinion and insights, so yes I trust him more then I do scouts I don't know a damn thing about.

This guy is way smarter than all y'all, tbh.
 
I am a little different on my opinions of players...

first I have a background in psychology so I look at what the players says and how they act while on the court. I have specific things I look for, not going into details now.

second I have coached youth basketball for 20 years and watch foot work, form, dribbling and coachability among many other things. (this will be the first year that I will not be involved in coaching it has been to hard because it was my sons and mine [cant get the phrase right] thing)

3rd I read and listen to those that know. (pkm is one of them. I know first hand he knows what he is talking about)

I have a few more but I don't ever promote anyone blindly.
